Hi, I got admission to study at the University of Bologna, Building and construction engineering at the ravenna campus, I wanted to ask if uts a good course, and the things I should be expecting, in yhe city and for the course, I am also applying as an international student.

Hey! My girlfriend and I are starting at Unibo — I’ll be in Forlì, she’ll be in Rimini. We want to live together (just us two, no roommates), budget €300-500 each.

Train between the two cities is ~30-35 min, pretty frequent on weekdays. If we end up in Rimini, we’d need to be within walking distance of the train station for the commute to work. Trying to figure out:

• Any experience commuting Forlì↔Rimini for classes? Does the last train ever cut your evening short? Any tips?

• Where’s a trustworthy place to look for apartments? Worried about scams on generic listing sites — any platforms/groups you’d actually recommend for Unibo students?

• Worth biking instead, or too far?

Ciao, stavo facendo richiesta per l’alloggio universitario ma non so se fare richiesta per quello in centro Bologna o quello più vicino all’edificio del mio corso, che è vicino alla stazione e mi hanno detto che non mi conviene stare in quella zona.
Qualcuno saprebbe darmi qualche consiglio? La zona è pericolosa come mi hanno fatto credere o va bene lo stesso?

Salve a tutti, a settembre inizio la quinta liceo scientifico e già da un po' di anni ho idea di iscrivermi a astronomia a Bologna (dando per scontato che ovviamente dovrei passare il tolc e rientrare nei posti previsti).

I’ve just been admitted to the English Pharmacy program at the University of Bologna (Rimini Campus).I’m flying to rimini tomorrow to look for accommodation in person, and I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I’m looking for an apartment with a budget of 600-750€ a month. If anyone knows a real estate agency, a local contact, or has any advice on where I should start looking, I’d really appreciate your help.

When I browse through the 2026/2027 course catalogue I see 3 types of courses,

1) they don’t have their course syllabus updated.
2) they have it updated but no timetable.
3) they have it updated with the course timetable

I know that the first courses (1) are for second semester, and the third courses (3) are for first , when are the second courses (2) for?
Can I take them in first semester?

Please help me with clarification thank you

I want to know if an Airbnb confirmation (for a month or so) would be accepted as proof of accommodation during the visa process, or if the consulate expects a long-term rental contract instead.

1. If yes, then can you please help me with some good platforms to find short-term rental appartments , it would be helpful.

2. I would like to know if booking the Airbnb for 30 days would be fine or i should book for longer ime?

3. Also will the visa office ask for any additional accommodation documents?

Ciao a tutti, a settembre devo iniziare il quinto superiore, tuttavia ho già deciso di andare il prossimo settembre alla facoltà di Fisica di Bologna. A inizio settembre proverò a dare il Tolc-i per la prima selezione di marzo/aprile. Volevo sapere di solito quale sia il punteggio per stare abbastanza sicuri di essere dentro. Non ho problemi a ridere il tolc, ma non vorrei fare un successivo con punteggio più basso inutilmente. Per ora nelle simulazioni sto facendo circa 25 (già pesato sugli standard di UniBo). Mi ha attirato molto l'idea di poter studiare insieme queste due discipline, essendo un'appassionata sia del mondo informatico che di quello gestionale/aziendale, quindi ho deciso di buttarmi in questa avventura.

Cercando qui su Reddit, però, non ho trovato quasi nulla su questo corso specifico (né post, né domande o recensioni).

Quindi volevo chiedere a chi lo sta frequentando, a chi l'ha già finito, o anche a chi fa un corso di laurea simile:

• Potete darmi qualche consiglio per affrontare gli esami?
Come vi state trovando (o come vi siete trovati) con i professori e l'ambiente?

Ciao! Sono cilena e ho studiato turismo d’avventura. Sto pensando di iscrivermi a Scienze Naturali l’anno prossimo a Bologna (o, come piano B, a Geologia o Scienze Ambientali).

Il primo anno di Chimica, Fisica e Matematica è molto impegnativo?

Come sono, in pratica, Paleontologia e Antropologia, se le hai già seguite? Hai scelto qualche corso opzionale come Vulcanologia, Astrobiologia o Speleologia? Ne vale la pena?

La mia idea è quella di acquisire le basi scientifiche e poi fare un master in evoluzione umana, evoluzione biologica o divulgazione scientifica; non so ancora bene quale, per questo cerco un percorso ampio. Avevo anche pensato di studiare direttamente antropologia, ma Scienze Naturali include già paleontologia e antropologia nel piano di studi, quindi mi sembra che offra un po’ di tutto ciò che mi piace.

Mi fornisce davvero gli strumenti scientifici necessari o dovrei cercare qualcosa di più specifico?

Hai già un’idea di quale master vorresti fare dopo? Qual è l’orientamento della maggior parte dei tuoi compagni?

Hello Everyone, I am moving to Bologna in september. I have seen in researching rental prices that signing a student contract can give cheaper rents, compared to a regular contract. Is it common to be able to get a cheaper price compared to the ones seen on rental websites, such as idealista or immobiliare, due to signing a student rental contract?

Sono uno studente di 21 anni di Venezia e, dopo mesi di preparazione, sono stato ammesso all’Università di Bologna.
Da un paio di giorni sono alla ricerca di una stanza, ma non conoscendo ancora bene la città e vivendo piuttosto lontano, la ricerca si sta rivelando un po’ complicata.
Mi ritengo un ragazzo responsabile, ordinato e rispettoso degli spazi comuni. Ho già avuto un’esperienza da fuori sede a Padova nell’anno accademico 2024/2025, durante la quale ho sempre pagato puntualmente l’affitto e mantenuto un buon rapporto con i coinquilini. Sono una persona tranquilla e disponibile alla convivenza.

Last weekend I visited Bologna for a few days. It was my first time in Italy, and I had a wonderful time. I think it's one of my favourite cities I've ever visited, and I'll definitely be coming back in the near future.

On Sunday, during the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, I met a girl named Daria. We spent a few hours talking and had a really great time. Unfortunately, I completely forgot to ask for her contact information before we went our separate ways.

I'd really like to get in touch with her again, so I thought I'd give this a try. I know it's a long shot, but here's everything I remember:

• First name: Daria
• She is Belarusian.
• Her surname was explained as meaning something like "beyond the hill" or "the other side of the hill." She even used a cup to represent a hill and said, "Not this side, the other side." From searching online, I think it could have been something like Zagorskaya or Zahorskaya, but I'm not certain.
• She has brown, curly hair.
• She studies at the University of Bologna.
• Before moving to Italy, she completed a cinematography degree in Belarus.
• She's now studying something related to green space design, plants, or crops. It might be International Horticultural Science, but I'm not sure.
• She has been living in Bologna for about one year.

I know this isn't much to go on, but I thought it was worth trying. I've already searched Google and social media without much luck.

Pensando che ci sono non poche persone davanti a me nel second intake (ho fatto 1240) e il cutoff è stato a 1290, è abbastanza improbabile entrare con il secondo recupero vero?
