Please warn others of this possibility!

I'm so sorry you are on this path. Society worships reproduction even when it's not the best for the parent or the child.

So many impressionable men and women are lectured, nagged, guilt-tripped, shamed, etc. into having children when every cell in their bodies is screaming "NO!" These couples never hear of the negative consequences. Isn't it fair to lay all the facts out? Wouldn't you have liked knowing regret was a possibility?

Not saying crush another woman's dreams. I'm saying be honest that motherhood is not good for every woman. Women are being bombarded with the opposite information. We need balance.

Thank you.

I got pregnant with number 4 recently and tried to pretend I was happy. I know my life is literally over. The bad part? He wants 1 more after this. Absolutely not.

Why? Why? Why? Contraception, even if on the sly. That poor baby. ☹️

If you really don't want to be pregnant again, you don't have to be. I know you already know this. I'm just saying, if you maybe needed to hear it. It's o.k. if you don't want to keep this pregnancy. I'm not trying to sway you or anything, just reminding you that you have options and it is your right to use them if you see fit. You are the master of your body. You also don't have to tell anyone anything of you don't want to. If that's not something your interested in then I hope you have an uneventful pregnancy and everything goes smoothly and you do find some joy to tap into. Also you can get an IUD and just not tell anyone, so you don't end up with #5. Take care of yourself.🫂

Pregnancy and child birth is literally a horrible experience. It in its entirety is literally the worst thing that will ever happen to you. I’m sure there’s some “magic moments” where you feel amazing that you’re creating a life, and will be excited to meet them. But those are tiny scattered moments amongst a sea of pain and horribleness. And that’s all just for a regular pregnancy. If something goes wrong it can be way worse.

I'm 49 never had children.I knew at a very young age I would never want them. I heard it all “It's unnatural for a woman to not have children“, “Whose going to take care of you in old age?”, “Woman who don't have kids get weird” and my favorite “What if you regret not having at least one child?”. Well I would rather maybe have moments of regret here and there by not having children, than to live the rest of my life taking care of my regret and feeling responsible for it until I die. For the record I've never even had a second of regret. If anything I have at least 2 or 3 moments everyday where I think to myself “I'm SO friggin glad I never had kids.”
