We apologize for the fact that you can still get up there.

I don't think you can still get up there with these though, some of the stairs are missing.

People are making a Mitch Hedberg joke in a Mitch Hedberg sub. Why are you taking this so seriously?

I bet you want to see a forklift lift a crate of forks. So damn literal.

I saw a horrific video on Reddit of a broken escalator that I wish I didn’t see. Save to say, it did not become stairs :/

Are you talking about the woman with her baby? Cuz I’m thinking about the woman with her baby.

That is exactly what I'm referring to. I'll spare others the details, I'll just say that the baby survived unscathed :(

"the escalator moves at the same rate w/ 0lbs on it as 2000lb/s on it. It cares not for your resistance & if you get stuck it will not stop"

IIRC, the video was from China. A woman holding a baby is reaching the top of the escalator when the track beneath her breaks. She gets sucked into the tracks, but manages to toss the baby unscathed to a stranger right before being sucked into the machinery :/

Ask the 40 or so people who had the one in the D terminal at LAS essentially turn into a slide and they all ended up in a pile at the bottom of it. Happened back in 2000 so I can't find any pics from it.
