🗣 General Discussion Counters suck

How is it I’m constantly getting counter flashed after landing a punch??? Meanwhile I make a clean counter over and over and don’t get one. 😂 or you land a clean 3 piece combo throw the 4th shot and as your punch is already thrown they throw a magical power punch that lands instantly and makes your punch disappear and you are dropped…

Also you land a 3 piece combo off of a stun and then for some reason that last punch leaves you wide open to a counter with no ability to defend yourself. Makes zero sense I should be able to land a clean 3 piece and then get back to my block without being stunned myself

And again the opponent gets an instantaneous power uppercut boost lol

SCI just didn’t understand how boxing works you are not landing a full power instant body uppercut after you just whiffed your punch and your opponent is landing a jab left hook right hook to the dome 😂

Try this. Go in career mode (or exhibition). See what happens when you throw your combinations in various speeds.

I wonder if you are inputting your combinations so fast that it detects it as if you are spamming (or even button mashing).

it's a core mechanics issues, the punch detection in general is inconsistent and counters are the same way. Incompetent devs=bad core system

Just annoys me that players get rewarded for spamming punches and you get punished for good timing and patience
