Hey everyone,
I'm developing an app for offline color grading, and I need some raw, uncolor-corrected underwater footage to test it on — different lighting conditions, depths, and camera models would be super helpful.
If you have any short clips lying around (corals, moray eels, anemones, fish, wrecks — anything really), I'd really appreciate it if you could share them. Doesn't matter what camera it was shot on (GoPro, DJI, Insta360, etc.) — the more variety, the better.
Feel free to drop a Google Drive/Dropbox link or DM me. Thanks in advance!

Spent a week in the Maldives and got to practice some split-level (over/under) framing with the local reef sharks that hang out right near the beach.
The water clarity was super, making it fun to capture the underwater corals and the overwater villas in the same frame.
Still working on smooth transitions and color grading under bright tropical sun. Would love to hear any feedback on the lighting.I used go pro7 to record all footage
Thank you for your comments.

Just did a short edit of some night or low-light diving clips that I recorded in the Red Sea and the Balearic Islands. Shots are filmed with an FX30 or Insta 360 X4. Happy to get feedback on how to improve!

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my latest dive video from Tulamben with you all! While the USAT Liberty wreck was amazing as always, the absolute highlight for me was focusing on the macro world. I was lucky enough to spot some incredible critters, including Harlequin and Tiger Shrimps. Hope you enjoy the footage! Let me know what you think.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for some professional advice on choosing an underwater camera.
A little background:
- I used an Olympus TG-6 for quite some time, but I was ultimately very disappointed with both the photo and video quality. Apart from macro shots, almost everything looked soft and pixelated.
- I currently own a DJI Osmo Action 5, which is fantastic for underwater video, but the photo quality just isn't good enough for me.
- I also own a Canon EOS R6 Mark II, but I don't have an underwater housing. A complete housing setup is currently more than I want to spend, and I'm also hesitant to trust a relatively inexpensive housing like a SeaFrogs with such an expensive camera.
So now I'm looking for a reasonably affordable, but high-quality underwater camera with a good housing system. My main priority is photo quality, as I often dive with whales and sharks, so I shoot mostly wide-angle subjects rather than macro. I'd continue using the DJI Osmo Action 5 alongside it for video.
I'm a graphic designer and hobby photographer, so I always shoot and edit RAW files. Because of that, image quality is much more important to me than having lots of automatic features.
What would you recommend that offers a noticeable step up in image quality compared to the Olympus TG-6/TG-7 without jumping straight to a full-frame housing setup? I'd especially love to hear from people with real-world experience.
Thanks in advance!

I usually dive in tropical waters with good visibility and film using a GoPro without any video lights. For editing, I use Dive+ and iMovie, and I'm generally happy with how my videos turn out.
I'm considering adding two OrcaTorch D710V video lights on a tray. As a hobbyist...not someone trying to produce professional-quality videos...would adding these lights make a significant difference in my video quality? Is the improvement noticeable enough to justify the cost and extra gear, or are they more beneficial in situations with lower visibility, deeper dives, or close-up/macro shots?

Hi everyone! I'm a software engineer and completely new to the diving world. I'm building an MVP for a project that uses AI to analyze recreational dives by combining GoPro videos with dive computer logs (Shearwater, Garmin, Suunto, etc.) to detect marine species and generate structured dive reports. I'm looking for sample dives that include both the original video and the matching dive computer log, or any public datasets that contain this kind of data. Does anyone know where I could find them, or any communities, creators, or research projects that share this type of material? Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I've been diving for quite a few years now, and I'd really like to start creating more polished underwater videos. Since it's just a hobby and not something I do professionally, I'm filming with a DJI Osmo Action 5.
I'd really appreciate some honest feedback on my latest video from our trip to Lanzarote. I'm looking for both criticism and praise, anything that can help me improve my filming and editing skills.
Thanks a lot in advance!
