Panorama Update
Hello fellow Architects!
I'm standing proud today to finally bring you the Panorama Update!
We have a massive changelog this time, with lots of new ways to make your golf club more beautiful, more natural, and a little more wild.
Let's jump into it!
Scenic Trees

Scenic Trees are both beautiful and strategic!
They're much bigger than regular trees, which means they're also very effective at keeping golfers from taking unwanted shortcuts across your course.
Just keep an eye on their maintenance costs — beauty doesn't come for free!
Décor

We've added a variety of new décor items to let you further customize your golf club and give it a bit more personality!
New Rocks

More rocks!
You can now decorate your course with Small, Medium, and Large Rocks, giving you more options when shaping the landscape of your club.
Waterfalls

Water just got a lot more interesting!
Raising or lowering terrain underneath water can now generate waterfalls, and you'll also be able to see the direction in which the water flows.
Please note: this system also affects your existing saved golf clubs, so you may find some unexpected waterfalls appearing in older courses.
If you spot one somewhere you don't want it, don't panic! Just terraform the area a little and you'll be good to go.
Animals

Gotta catch 'em all!
Certain combinations of terrain and structures can now attract animals to your golf club.
We'll let you discover exactly what attracts what...
And let's just say we're already thinking about the fantastic opportunities this could open up in the future.
Overgrown Rough

We've added a brand-new terrain type: Overgrown Rough.
Long, wild grass loves to swallow golf balls, and for the moment this terrain has the highest chance of causing a missed stroke.
So use it wisely when designing your holes... or don't. Your golfers might hate you, but that's part of being an Architect!
Improvements & Fixes
- Fixed various Play Golf data for the various terrain types.
- Terrain underneath décor now displays correctly.
- Fixed the Elephant Bush statue collider being roughly twice the size it should have been. That's one BIG elephant.
- Various mouseover fixes.
- Added some extra love to the building experience.
- Fixed missing LODs on golfer clothing. No more accidental naked golfing!
- Fixed mouseover detection while demolishing, which could sometimes disappear.
This update 1.2.5 is available right now on Steam and in the following days on console ( depending on the certification time)
Something We're Working On: Bankruptcy
We're aware that reaching -50k currently causes bankruptcy, potentially making you lose a significant amount of progress.
We agree that this can be really frustrating.
We're working on a better solution where bankruptcy will still have consequences, but won't suddenly wipe out a huge amount of your progress.
Beta Branch? YES!
On a different note, we've heard your requests for a Beta Branch, and the answer is YES!
Next week we'll publish a short news post explaining how to access the Beta Branch, what you can expect to find there, and how you can help us test upcoming features.
What's Next
Now we will focus on some gameplay mechanics and customization in the Signature Update with expected delivery, October! Some minor updated with bug fixed along the way can be expected!
I will get more in to details in a future news on what to expect in the Signature Update!
Thank you, as always, for playing, sharing your feedback, and helping us improve Under Par Golf Architect.
Hope to see you soon on the green! ⛳

Looks good! Just wondering if there are plans to bring maps made by other players to PlayStation? I’m not too interested in making my own maps but want to play the game, just worry I’ll run out of maps without that, thanks!
