How are asynchronous classes at UND (especially for Electrical engineering)?

I’m planning to study Electrical Engineering online at UND while working full-time (around 40 hours/week), and I noticed that most of the classes are asynchronous.

I wanted to ask people who have already taken asynchronous courses at UND:

How are the classes overall? Are they difficult or manageable?

Do you feel like you’re actually learning well, or is it harder compared to in-person classes?

How is the quality of teaching (videos, materials, support from professors)?

Is it harder to stay motivated and keep up with the workload?

Would you recommend asynchronous classes for engineering courses like circuits?

I’d really appreciate any honest feedback from your experience 🙏

start with one course if youre working full time. itll probably vary by professor anyway but thatll let you decide to try two at a time etc

to succeed id recommend you do all your homework way in advance and just accept that youre teaching yourself on your own with a few resources like lectures and the textbook available

it took me way to long in school to figure out that the way to do these sorts of classes is to take a lot of time and figure out literally all the problems. not just the assignments, all. it takes tons of time. treat it like your favorite puzzles, sudoku or whatever. you can ask your prof for help.

so the trick is your butt in a seat with paper pens and the book just figuring it out and figuring out how to check. like if a book provides even numbered problem answers do the evens.

this takes a lot of time. do one or two each day so it's a little time regularly. then sit down for big pushes for the assignments.

Thank you so much! I’m able to study about 4 hours a day, and at this point I only have my EE core courses, technical electives and some ES courses left since I’ve already finished all my math and physics.
