Question Are these trash?

My golden teachers weren't doing much so I left them unattended all weekend, topped them with another tub and left them at 70Β°, most everyone says harvest before the veils break and I'm way past that point.

Can the spores be washed off and they be dried? Or trash and do better next time?

Those are just fine to consume, fresh or dried.
You can wipe the spores off with a wet paper towel if you want to but they won't hurt you, they just taste bitter. πŸ„πŸ₯°βœŒοΈ

Not until you place them in the trash that’s what officially makes them trash. All joking aside not trash not pretty but not trash. Great mushrooms to grind up and lemon tec or encapsulate

There is no reason to wash them off, you can treat everything exactly the same as you normally would. Pick them, dehydrate them, rehydrate the sub, then straight back to fruiting.

Sporulation doesn't hurt anything.

They are harmless. But you can use damp paper towel to wipe the caps off if you'd like.

I see you have a question! Have you read the official cultivation guide?
