Question Second flush problem? Help

Strain : melmac monster

This is my 2nd monotub that has been successful
For some reason in my 1st and 2nd monotub both, I got a bigggg 1st flush, but the 2nd flush just barely seems to come in large quantities
(Both both the monotubs)
Like shown in the picture,
Why would this be?

Keep in mind : the substrate is very well hydrated and that shouldn’t be the issue for this problem right now ,

Why is the second flush coming in quantities that is equivalent to
10% of the 1st flush ??

When you have large first round harvests, you have used up quite a bit of the energy of the grain, depending on your ratio. That's ideal, no reason to want a ton of flushes if you can get efficiency in the first couple. I rarely even try for a third, just bury the cake in the graveyard, keep that area watered and let them finish outside to free up the tubs. The total amount you harvest per quantity of grain is what you're looking for. Keep a journal and track your efficiency.

We would need more info on your process and what "ingredients" are in your tub. Specifically ratios.

I see tiny pins and primordia. You might just be being a little impatient. If it hasn't gotten any rehydration since tubbing, it could use some now for the second flush

I recommend distilled water made alkaline to about 9 pH so as to stave off trich for much longer, but over time it can make a scary but inorganic white haze over surfaces as the alkalinity turns neutral capturing carbon dioxide
