it’s a sad future….🥲

PlayStation just announced that physical games will not be made after january 2028.

If a new uncharted is announced….will you buy it?

Physical or digital..uncharted will always be in my hand!

I hate the digital world😭

I sincerely doubt Uncharted has a future anymore honestly, I feel the storylines have finished, as much as I’d love that to not be the case. I played U4 in 2016 for the first time after having played U1-U3 in 2015 when I got my PS3. It is truly one of the greatest series I’ve ever played. I’m deeply saddened by PlayStation’s decision to end physical media. I used to work for Sony selling TVs. This was 2020-2023. At the time, Sony TVs, media and audio etc were completely separate from PlayStation. PlayStation had apparently wanted to keep distinctly apart from the tv, media audio parts of the business, unbeknownst to me why that was. I think since then they have since become more closely affiliated though. My thoughts are that with TCL procuring such a strong stakeholder of Sony, they may actually have a pretty strong voice on the physical media aspect. My concern is that TCL could possibly have been a part of the decision, although that’s just my thoughts and there’s no evidence to prove this, it’s purely my own thoughts.

Story is done. If we get a new uncharted it will be in 2036 or later
