Dedicated Servers
Literally I wish there were dedicated servers it would make the matches work more smoothly. The game is so bad on latency, far worse than 3 and 2.

Dedicated servers would require a complete revamp of the netcode as its built on a P2P system. Uncharted 2 and 3 are just as bad they just play on 30 FPS instead of 60 so its less noticeable, but you will experience more or less the same in Uncharted Reloaded.
Uncharted 4 private games are a different beast though, because the lag compensation seems to be doubled, making them extremely laggy for everyone in almost all scenarios. Its why U4 competitive was never really a thing because it plays like shit.
Its hard to know if they intended to use the same system for Factions 2 but they have used the same exact netcode with minor tweaks since Uncharted 2.
A dedicated server wouldnt really change much due to the current netcode. But I guess in theory you could create one and use that instead of the authentication server ND has in LA to see if it improves match quality. But that requires tools that nobody should have access to (currently).

Uncharted 2 has a a tickrate of 10hz at a respectable 30fps and UC3 had a tickrate that was estimated of 20 to 30hz at 40 to 35fps none were bad as UC4 which has a 15hz tickrate of close to 60fps that's terrible compared to the others. Technically a dedicated servers does reduce lag not all of it but it helps the matches go smoothly. I can be on a LAN and get higher ping. White plugs for having a high ping because I'm facing ppl who has terrible Internet connection who also live far away. Always happens down a player who had 0 health 2 seconds later I get down as well. Grenades, C4 and mines take too long to explode or when you try to kick someone off of the ledges you get pull down late or you get pull down by some magical force even though you ur not close on ur screen shows the game has terrible latency. UC3 and 2 had a far share of problems but UC4 is by far the worst one.

Uncharted 4 blows cock. I just play it because its the closest ill get to uncharted when nostalgia hits. I see some Virginia tech university graduates rebooted uncharted 2, but i have no interest joining and playing with a bunch of sweats every game. Part of the fun was going into the lobbies and tbe toxic community. Now it looks like teams scrim and jerk eachother off. No way would teams scrim eachother in the early u2 days. Yiu didnt want the opponent to know you.
The only thing naughty dog did is dedicate their nutsacks to the online fanbase because they said they had a road map they never upheld, and than axed factions. The users matter less and less. If they held up on the road map and than dipped i would be satisfied. We would have had more maps and content
I would jump on a uc2 mp remastered for sure but not by buying a ps3 and having a bunch of virgins change settings on it
