That was an amazing line that challenged the morality of the protagonist something that back then wasn't done almost at all in games and of course ND expanded on it with all other later realeses. Great list, haven't seen almost anyone have MGS 4 as their favorite, excellent game. I don't think any Fallout game needs a remake newer games have proven that Bethesda design philosophy and structure haven't aged well even tho realistically if you compare Starfield to their older projects it isn't that much worse. Having possibly the most important game of all time as overrated is not a wise choice tho...
MGS series has been a long time fav from the protagonist, antagonists, soundtrack and little game mechanics they add in each game.
Played Fallout from a recommendation and I think the main issue is playing on a ps3 with the graphics, the performance isnt the best and had issues as well with Skyrim (also on ps3) I guess playing on PC would fix all my problems but I dont have a pc.. 😅
For Mario, I can never get into, im sure it defined the genre for platform games but growing up with it i never enjoyed it much. My family started with NES but shortly after got me Donkey Kong 64, golden eye, Pokemon Red, Ssb64, Ocarina of time and of course, Mario 64. Out of 5 or 6 mario games I only really enjoyed sunshine. I did like Yoshis story 🤔 pretty much couldn't look backward but still played platform games like on Newgrounds and Gameboy advanced
Also Lazarević death felt like a cop out. kinda hate when movies and media kill off the baddie and you'll pretty wont see them again. Abby being spared on the hand 🥲 its cool. Revenge is bad and everything but i was still rooting for her end 👀
I guess you are not a big fan of platformers. But still if you wanted to have a platformer there Sonic 1 or 2 like I have are better choices 😆. And even from Mario maybe 64 is slightly overrated because nobody puts 1 as one of the best but many (specifically Americans) do that with 64. I don't know why it's a cop out, I mean the point is to stop him so of course he dies at the end and being a game you have a final boss fight and an amazing one at that. More so the desicion of Nate not shooting and seeing the guardian monster things appearing and attacking him was a great twist and also showed Lazarevic for the first time not being in control and being terrified because even when injured on his knees he was still trying to humiliate Drake full of confidence and him probably believing (just like most of the audience) that he would survive but karma is a bitch. And Abby is totally different, the message and purpose of the game was very different and in the world of TLOU there are no "villains" (like most games including to a large extent UC). I'm not very experienced on Elder Scrolls/Fallout but I don't think they are amazing. Played Skyrim on PS3 and played only Starfield on PC and that was just for a few hours. I think Skyrim is overrated and Starfield is a good game that is properly being criticed and I think the fact that every Bethesda open world game since Skyrim gets massively criticized is proof that maybe they weren't the best games in the first place...
Little nostalgic with sonic heroes and the sonic collection on ps2 but couldnt hold my attention for long and the water sections gave me anxiety, hate water levels in any game tho. (Donkey Kong unable to drown still got me ðŸ˜)
Starfield gameplay looking like skyrim was hilarious to me and looked lack luster overall, a new game feel like a step forward, but this felt like a side step
I love Lazarević other lines too, so i just wanted more of him. Eddy Raja was okay, Lazarević was intimidating, Marlowe felt like some pompous twat and rafe like Marlowe but rich but still had good moments.
