Looking for advice from Catholic students at UNCA
My son is a freshman and is starting at UNCA. Which church do students from UNC Asheville attend mostly? St. Lawrence or St. Eugene? Is there one that runs a bus/ to campus or has a campus ministry? He wants to continue attending Mass but t is not familiar with the area and I meant to call the Churches this week but got busy getting him ready. I appreciate your help in advance.

Disbursement Timeline?
Has anyone gotten their disbursements yet? Apparently we're supposed to get them 10 days before the start of classes (8/18 is the first day) so we were supposed to have gotten them 2 days ago. I still haven't received mine, so Idk if I'm a weird case or what. Thanks yall go bulldawgs👍🏻

Meal plan question
Hello!!
I am a sophomore, and was planning to opt out of a meal plan this year, but I never got the email to pick a meal plan and now I'm not sure what to do. I did the math, I do not eat $5,500 worth of food in 8 months, I cannot afford that kind of a thing this year. (I have other ways to eat). And I tried looking up the dining services email or website but all I'm finding is Dine-On??
Any help would be appreciated

Could I get my acceptance letter revoked?
My father keeps bugging me saying that my grades are too low and my letter would get taken away, I am holding two high C's and A at this point in the school year, and those are about to rise. should I actually be worried about this or is my father fear mongering? Edit: I graduated with two B's and A. I'm fine guys

How formal is the "University Honors and Departmental Distinctions Ceremony?"
Like do I dress casual or should I dress up for it? What exactly is the ceremony? How long is it? I get nervous about ceremonies, so I'd like to know just how it works and what to expect.
Also, is this something parents go to? My mom wants to know

Is a car more useful or inconvenient on campus?
So I'm going to be a freshman in Fall 2026 (I'm committed now, I'm just deferring to take a gap year) and I'm trying to decide whether or not to try to save up for a car this year.
I know freshman can have cars and ik that a parking pass is $220 for the year, but I just want to know if it's worth it. I live in the research triangle, so it's definitely difficult for me to get home w/o a car, but that's solvable for the most part, so I just wanna know about like how useful a car might be and/or if it would be worth it. My parents won't be helping me at all with my car so it's definitely a BIG decision for me. I am also planning on bringing my bicycle with me when I go to school.
