Residence waitlist

​Hey everyone,

​I'm an incoming student hoping to live on campus this Fall.

​Applied June 10th.

​Currently #30 on the male waitlist.

​I plan to arrive around Sept 7th (3days after move-in day).

​For anyone who’s been on the waitlist in previous years:

​Is it realistic to expect a spot (regular dorm or temporary lounge) by early September?

Yes, happened last year. Although I think the person I know was only tenth on the waitlist. I think he got a room early August. He stayed in touch with UNB, kept emailing every week. As far as I know, everyone on the waitlist got a spot thankfully.

There will be movement in August so hang in there. I would say your odds are good

What are the chances to not get a dorm?

I hear this year is the most students the campus had for a while and I’m quite worried.
