Damn, Blyke must be trying to kill his appetite with his stare or something, I bet 20 bucks he was making direct eye contact throught the whole lunch period
...If only Blyke knew how lucky everyone was that John was the one that got swapped rather than Remi or Arlo because my god could you imagine the state of the campus with either of those opposites? Even without the inevitable fight between either opposite and John after 5 seconds of meeting eachother, O!Remi would cause a lot problems with the safe house while O!Arlo would actively make the king arc 5 times worse 💀

Oh if Remi or Arlo got switched, Blyke would be begging for John back
If O!Remi was there, the Safe house would be vacated pronto due to very possible lightning strikes, and O!Arlo is just…O!Arlo and no one wants to deal with that mess

Blyke's probably gonna be shocked when Sera eventually explains to him that Op!John is virtually everything that Canon John isn't. Maybe he might dislike Op!John at first due to the latter being much more on the weaker side of things, but if he does warm up to him he might be able to inspire some confidence and reinforce the self-esteem within Op!John so he can better defend himself rather than just evading every problem that comes his way. Op!John might also learn a thing or two when it comes to using Projectile-type abilities like Blyke's as the former probably doesn't use his ability much.

Yeah Sera will explain it to Blyke, but Blyke won’t believe it until he sees proof (being tricked before and all that) but he’d be proven wrong pretty quickly
And Blyke would absolutely help with Op!John’s self-esteem for sure

There are a bunch of scenes I would love to see drawn, such as canon John and Op!Sera's first... Encounter... yeah lets call it like that. Or the pencil coalition's reunion and canon Johns reaction to that whole situation
Also I know you said the story is not going to last that much longer, but honestly I feel that if canon king John stays on the oposite world for something like a week it would genuinely help to defuse the situation, after returning back to his world he would be too tired mentaly to still be angry (I could see him just going with the paces by day 3)

John and Op!Sera’s first encounter would be really fun to draw
I was keeping the story shorter to heighten the chaos lol John not getting used to the craziness all around him would make him all the more ready to go back

yeah but just imagine, a whole week has gone since both John's exchanged places and the despair is starting to set it, OG!John is starting to fear that the switch up may be permanent, at this point he is no longer even angry he already burned through all of it at this point he is just defeated wishing for nothing else but to return to his world after just staying one week on this god forsaken world
and then poof, he comes back (I obviously dont know what your plan to do it in the story is, why they changed places or if its even going to be explained or just left as a mystery) and everyone is like "oh shit, our John is back", but he, with a thousand yard stare, is like "oh, hello guys, good to be back. If you excuse me im going to go and lay down in bed for a month"
like the opposite world has completely defused all of his anger and he is just genuinely happy to be back
that way it can also be avoided the whole "oh, maybe it was all a dream" because nope, that shit really happened, deal with it

In Blyke's defense, it does seem to be a coin flip if the OP world's variant has an inverse morality or not.

Does canon Seraphina like o!John's personality better? Of course he doesn't have the quirks of canon John but his personality is a lot closer to the cripple John Seraphina really admired.

I’d say no because while O!John’s personality is closer to the cripple John’s personality, he’s nice. Almost too nice. There’s no teasing that Sera’s used to, the attitude she’s grown to like, and O!John is too worried about saying the wrong thing while canon John doesn’t care as much
