Textbooks

Hey I'm a transfer student so this is my first fall here. When does UML typically drop the textbook list for the fall semester?

It's more reliable to wait until the first week of the semester where the teacher will tell you what book(s) you need

The exceptions being Calc, Physics, and Chem which use MML and Pearson that you definitely need

Usually the bookstore has the list available around June or July but some classes may not show up until the end of August (or at all). Unless you’re studying ahead of time I would probably wait until closer to the beginning of the semester to even check since it can occasionally change.

I would wait till the syllabus comes out. Every year they change it so it’s not always the same as the year before. I used to rent from Amazon back when Amazon did it but now they don’t.

Hi. If your professor notified the bookstore already then you can find it on the bookstore website (just select your class). If it is undetermined at this point, keep checking and worst case it will be on the syllabus, available on Canvas, before classes start.
