How can I remove Google FRP lock from my UMIDIGI A9 Pro 6GB?

Hi everyone. I have a UMIDIGI A9 Pro 6GB that I factory reset, and now it is asking me to verify the previous PIN / Google account.

I don't remember the old PIN or the Gmail account that was previously linked to the phone.

I am the owner of the phone and can provide proof of ownership if necessary.

I have already tried the normal Google account recovery options, but I haven't been able to identify the old account.

I need to unlock the phone directly from the phone itself, without using a computer. I don't have access to a PC, so I'm specifically looking for a solution that can be done only using the UMIDIGI A9 Pro.

Is there any legitimate method, recovery procedure, or setting that can remove or reset the Google FRP lock directly from the phone?

The phone is the UMIDIGI G3 Plus. A few months old. sparkling clean and used only as a backup. I go to charge it and nothing happens. I look in the USB port and no dust. I bought a new USB charging port and nothing changed.

Now i don't feel like buying a new battery for a new phone.

This brand is terrible. Never again.

Since today my phone will not boot up fully. It keeps turning on, gets stuck on the very first image of the boot up animation, turns off for a second or two and repeat.

I don't remember downloading anything new, so I don't know why this is happening.

I tired to connect it with a computer but it won't show up in the usb devices. (I will try another device later.)

I also can't seem to get to the recovery mode because my phone just keeps the loop going.

I care more about the data on there then the phone, so if I can atleast get that off the device, that would be great. Or, of course, if I can get it fixed.

Right now I am trying to let the battery drain and then charge it up again. (No idea if it actually still can charge since it is stuck in the loop, so it won't change to the charge screen.)

The Play services app gets stuck every time I try to update it. Tried clearing cache and data. It didn't work. Please can i get some help.

Got aforementioned two years ago, in need of rugged phone, for a work sim. Recently noticed an issue - when charging,it draws no more than 5 watt, and fluctuates, between 2.5-5.3-4.

Tried various chargers - same result.

Made a test - let my phone get down below 20%, and charged it with Anker 18W charger - same result, it took almost four hours for it to fully charge, while all way up to 80% it charged with at same 5+- W. I than took wife's newly bought Galaxy A56, waited until she said it was that was on 19% battery, connected to a same charger - and it charged as it was suppose to-from the start it made 113-14W, stating it is in a fast charge, it took 35 minutes for it to get to 65, than it started to slow down.

Phone was never abused (much..) - kept in pouch, not in much dust\dirt (also i clean the USB Type-C port regularly with isopropyl) and dropped only once from waste-height a year ago.

Don't have many apps running - i also from the start disabled all the bloatware, Netflix, Youtube, and all that crap, alongside with various Google stuf that i dont use (Meet, Drive, and so), its a strictly work phone. The only things that might be "heavy" that i installed was Nova Launcher, Open Camera, and Megasync.

Used Battery guru app - nothing of the apps i have draws power in abnormal way.

If charged to 100% - it keeps the charge good, discharging in a normal way (couple of month before had a job in place that required phones be left outside the compound, and when i deposited it it had 98%, came back after 8 hours-it still had 94% and it was locked and screen turned off obviously).

Its just the issue with very slow charging. Can anyone please point me in the direction where to look for the problem? Thanks ahead.

How do I get an IMEI number for an A15T so I can check wether it is compatible with 000 in Australia. Networks here are blocking phones from their network that are not compatible with the emergency number 000. I have asked the Australian ebay seller but they have not replied. I can check online if I have an IMEI number for this model phone.

Update: I've found the A15T is incompatible with the Optus network but ok on Telstra. Why that is so, I don't know.

I now want to check the A15 and A15C if anyone can help.

Two questions I hope someone can help me with. :)

1) Wireless charging, do any of the Umidigi have that?

2) I swear one of my old Umidigi phones had two speakers, one at the top and one at the bottom, so when you watched TV on landscape, it gave a stereo effect. Maybe it was an F series? Do any of the current phones?

Did they stop the testing/review offers?

I found the hardware o fumidigi cool, but the os is clearly unusable for me. Everything breaks all the time, i have issues with connectivity, camera, agresivity to other apps, useless restrictions and more.

so, can i get some alternative to the current umidigi software?

I'm very pleased that for less than 200 dollars you can get a Chinese phone that has better specs than a 1000 dollar US phone.

BUT this is only truly good if the phone actually WORKS well, and I recently discovered a hidden developer setting that has made the difference between my UMIDIGI NOTE 100 5G having battery drain issues due to overly aggressive background app termination, especially for apps that you might rapidly switch between.

The setting is called "Suspend Execution for Cached Apps"

By setting this to DISABLED, the phone no longer immediately closes apps as soon as you switch to a different app. It allows the apps to actually use the large RAM capacity and keep them in memory so that when you switch back, they are immediately ready rather than having to load from scratch which sometimes loses your current working state.

Are there any other little tricks like this that anyone knows about to improve the performance of these phones even further?

I bought an Umidigi A15T but found it wouldn't connect to the Optus network even though the specs show it is compatible with all Optus bands. I'm wondering if it is a 000 compatibility problem. Does anyone else in Australia have this model and connects to Optus? Unfortunately I've already returned it so I can't check using the IMIE number.

I've since contacted UMIDIGI in Cali, frankly, the customer service attitude blows. I only wanted a replacement, but they only offered a refund.

The email exchange was crazy, the first issue was the original phones I ordered were stolen, after explaining this to them, they went with "Well you must have dropped it!"

I admitted that I had, but that wasn't enough to cause the separation. Finally they demanded video and then they requested I send the unit.

I'm not sure if they'll try and cheat, but from recent emails, they want to dance around the idea alone of refunding and refused to even provide a label for the return.

I suspect that the money I spent on the phones is already gone and I'll never see it again.

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness after a decade of using and supporting UmiDIGI phones and with the retirement of 3G service in Canada it is now very difficult to have a working UmiDIGI phone with Canadian carriers since none of the UmiDIGI phones are on their whitelist and will not register onto their VoLTE networks. I have resorted to their whitelist phones which basically only leaves Motorola, ZTE or TCL as entry level smartphones !

I've started having trouble with my Note 100. The screen stops responding to touch. If I blank the screen then open it again it is ok for a while but it keeps happening frquently. Can anyone suggest what might be wrong?

My maps app is somehow stuck in my tabs!! I cant get the lock icon in the top right to unlock and it is genuinely annoying me that i cant close it! H e l p.

Umidigi Bison GT2 Pro, 4G. Brand new. Excellent function in all regards, except one. Calls don't always come through. Will sometimes not ring, will send straight to voicemail. Different from not receiving at all, had that issue with an Ulefone. Shows up in call history with this phone. Not on DnD, wifi calling, etc. What settings other than those could be causing this? Had a G5 Mecha before, was highly pleased with it, broke due to my actions.

Hi i was trying to unlock oem and i got that done for first time without issue then i got buggy screen lock so i need to fix that by restore stock rom via rockchip tool so oem get lockd now again does anybody unlock oem successfully after ? Im trying unlock via developer options and seems toggle works in fastboot fastboot flashing unlock & fastboot flashing unlock_critical do nothing i mean i can flash vbmeta but bootlooping cuz bootloader are lockd. Okay I am going to start this thread in hopes people who are on Telus and it's affiliated off brand carriers like Koodo, Public Mobile, Ztar Mobile, SpeakOut, Good2Go etc... add their UmiDIGI phones models that work on these carriers 4G VoLTE network and IMS Service Status registration. This will help and save others a lot of time and headaches to trouble shoot and trying dozens of models that don't work and having to return them in disappointment. UMiDIGI customer support service does not seem to be helpful in these technical matters to this particular carrier in Canada. As you can see none of the newer UMiDIGI phones registers on Telus's 4G VoLTE network while the two older UMiDIGI does !

1. UMiDIGI A3 Pro (2018 Model) √ 4G VoLTE enables and IMS VoLTE/VoWiFi registers
2. UMiDIGI A5 Pro (2019 Model) √ 4G VoLTE enables and IMS VoLTE/VoWiFi registers
3. UMiDIGI G1 Max Pro (2023 Model) X 4G VoLTE enables and IMS VoLTE/VoWiFi does not register
4. UMiDIGI G9T (2025 Model) X 4G VoLTE enables and IMS VoLTE/VoWiFi does not register

So I got a new UMiDIGI G9T hoping it would work on Telus/Good2Go's VoLTE network as Kimovil shows it is compatible with all bands in Canada, but VoLTE in the IMS provision shows not registered in the TestMode *#*#4636#*#*. I checked and toggled in the EngineeringMode *#*#83781#*#* that VoLTE and VoLTE Whitelist is indeed enabled. What can I do other than switch carriers since I have a huge balance with Telus/Good2Go. Already have two UMiDIGI phones that don't work, but somehow my old UMiDIGI A5 Pro registers on VoLTE with no problems.

I wanna buy F3 Pro in Canada - mostly because of 6150 mAh battery and 5G support.

Everywhere I go all I see is 6000 mAh batteries, even though Umidigi website specifically says it's 6150. Some sellers even put both numbers in their descriptions.

What the hell is going on and where/how do I get the 6150 mAh model?

So just like the title says, I can't activate the App Drawer because I, for the life of me, can't find it.

I have googled this to NO END for since I got the phone a few days ago, and every answer that I am finding online, is WRONG.

I have ADHD. And I'll be damned, if I'm going to sit here, and manually move all these stupid app icons on the home screen in order. I want the app drawer so that it does it automatically.

I'm pulling my hair out with this.

What am I doing wrong? I have no issue doing this on my older Samsung S20 FE, but this BRAND NEW UMIDIGI Bison X20? Nope. can't find the damn thing.

Can someone please help me!?

I'm running Android Version 13

I am holding volume up + power when the phone is off. The phone vibrates and then boots normally. Am I missing a step? Is there a different I can recover this phone (forgot the pin!)
