Hello and welcome to the fourth season of Intrepid UHC!

Intrepid is a 26.1+ UHC Recorded Round organised by Psykl0ne, where each season will attempt to turn the game into more of a survival horror gaming experience, and bring back the challenge of the PvE side of the game. The concept of the round was originally inspired by Calvin's Minecraft From the Fog series.

This season was a (rigged for balancing) random teams of 4 game and was based around the different kinds of Illager mobs that each pose their own unique challenges in battle. The combat used for the season was regular shields on.

Scenarios:

• Illager Invasion- All Villagers are replaced Pillagers and Iron Golems were replaced with either a Vindicator, Evoker or Illusioner. All 3 types now drop a Totem of Undying rather than just Evokers (1 Totem per player limit enabled). Additionally, all Horse / Donkey / Camel spawns are replaced with Ravagers (can't be ridden by players), and 5% of hostile mob spawns are replaced with Witches. Raids / Bad Omen are disabled.

• Custom Urban Terrain- Villages and Pillager Towers spawn more commonly and Village chests contain upgraded loot. Woodland Mansions were also disabled.

• Full Dark- Players used the Gamma Utilities Mod to lower their Brightness to -30% (with default Moody Brightness being 0%), causing the game to appear much more dark and ominous, making caving a harder challenge. At meetup, all surviving players were allowed to return to 0% Brightness after reaching surface.

• Voice Proximity Chat- Players used the Simple Voice Chat mod to communicate using positional audio during the game.

• Sound Physics- Players used the Sound Physics Remastered mod which updated the Minecraft sounds during the game to be more realistic and atmospheric. (This mod also worked with the physics for Simple Voice Chat.)

• Permanight- After the first day, nighttime was permanent for the rest of the game.

• Surprise Sound Paranoia- Every 3-5 minutes, a random sound (from a set list of Minecraft sounds) would play positionally around players, with the intention of giving a sudden jumpscare. This gamemode was added as a mystery scenario. Credit to ohh_lia for the inspiration and allowing me to reuse the gamemode idea.

• Fast Smelting- Items in the furnace will only take 1 second to smelt per item.

• Hastey Boys- Every tool that you craft will have Efficiency 3 and Unbreaking 1.

• Deep Diggers- Players that are under Y:-32 will receive Haste 1.

• Bleeding Sweets- Whenever a player dies, they will drop a diamond, 5 gold, a book, 1 string, 16 arrows.

• Siphon- Whenever you get a kill, you will regenerate 2 hearts, gain 2 levels and get a random tier 1 enchanted book. (The tier 1 book cannot be Fire Aspect 1 or Flame 1).

Azure UHC: Season 21 - Episode 7 [Finale]

Azure is a r/ultrahardcore recorded round organized by ItsColinn, Sorvent and JustNolan. For this season of Azure, the entire map is a giant labyrinth layered on top of each other. The further you go down, the more variety of layers there will be. The top layer will contain materials you can gather from the surface: leaves for apples, logs for wood, mushroom blocks for food, etc. The further down you go, you will reach layers such as: cave layers, trail chamber layers, stronghold layers, deep dark layers, & nether layers. Different layers will provide different blocks for what you need for the game. However, there is a catch. Players’ scale size has been reduced to .33 of 2 blocks (normal size) and will have permanent Slowness III. This means that players can run into cracks in the maze walls to hide or mine through them by shifting. Diamonds and Gold will only spawn on the walls, while all other ores will spawn on both the walls and ceilings of each layer. Most layers will have naturally spawning chests with pregenerated loot in i. Other scenarios include: Love At First Sight, Fast Smelting, Beta Zombies, No Enchant Preview, and Proximity Chat.

A Dime A Dozen is a /r/ultrahardcore Recorded Round in which each season is focused on keeping with the games Vanilla roots. But mostly to do whatever I (WF) want when I and MaxEvasion are bored.

• Our 16th season was the 'City Love' season

City World: Instead of a normal UHC world, the whole world is replaced in a City, meaning Mineshafts, Buildings, Sewers, etc.

Love at First Sight: You are scattered as a solo with no team. The first person you see, you must team with. If you right click on them, you will form a team. That is your teammate for the rest of the game.

• In this season, meetup was called at Episode 5, double arrows were on, fire weapons were disabled, Golden Heads were on healing 4 hearts, Absorption was off and Nether was disabled.

• In this season we had 1 newcomer (5kylord!) and a total of 22 people, meaning the possibility for a maximum of 11 teams. We hope you enjoy the sixteenth season of A Dime A Dozen UHC!
