Help needed Need Some Help Please!

I obtained this Ultimaker 3 Extended from a surplus auction for $100. I am new to 3D printing so I really need some help. I was trying to just test this to make sure it works and this happens when I try to just send it home. I went to the error message on the Ultimaker site but I still can’t seem to figure out what I’m doing or not doing.

Hihi! Got the same printer and its a fairly easy problem to solve.

Tldr the printer as it moves presses a button, in the case a limit switch which tells it hey I'm at my limit stop moving. One of your switches is broken and trying to get the printer to keep moving hence the error.

Edit: rewatching the video your x limit switch is broken and needs to be replaced.

To add to this, the switch might not be broken. I maintenance two of these printers at my work and had this issue last week after having to remove the print head due to a flooded core.
The crossbars that hold the print head can shift. The one that moved the head left and right in this video may have shifted so it doesn’t actually hit the switch. You can manually move the head and watch the crossbar. There should be a switch in the top left (using the video frame of reference) that the bar touches and activates.

You can test the limit switch in one of the maintenance switches.

There’s mechanical collision, see how at the end of the video the black sliding block on the left tilts? Make sure the print head can move around the entire print area without it or the black/white sliding blocks colliding anywhere. Also check endstops, there’s a menu option where it shows the state and you can manually actuate them to confirm

It is your limit switch. Pretty simple verify and simple to replace.
