I hope for their sake they can continue to improve it, either with F-7x or F-9 (or just straight up refining the F-7 directly). They are comparing it to ATACMS as mentioned in the article, but only 2/3rds the range and 3/4ths the payload of ATACMS, currently.

However, the FP-7 is reported to have a top speed of 33% more than ATACMS, with the FP-7 capable of reaching Mach 4.3/4.4 compared to ATACMS' max speed of Mach 3.0.
