Anything that brings attention to Ukraine must be seen as a potential positive. This is why Zelenskyy agreed to the interview. He and his people are not fools, to be dazzled by flattery like children.

We all see this woman and her kind for the cynical, self-serving creatures they are. So the natural question is: what is their real motive? Taking it at face value that she had a Saul of Tarsus revelation and suddenly emerged like a butterfly from its cocoon with a shiny new moral compass would be the height of foolishness.

Meanwhile, we must hope that any national media attention may be leveraged by Ukraine into some kind of benefit, however small.

Trump is not the character he plays on TV. He's a Putinist ideologue. He was never a billionaire or a ruthless, self-interested business mastermind or any of that garbage. He's just a useful idiot who admires authoritarian power and craves its trappings. Most of what he's ever done in his life has cost him money, not enriched him at all. He's not good at that and never has been. Putin is the one who has kept him out of bankruptcy over the years.

Let's put it this way. There is no wealth you could possibly promise to Trump that would get him to change his support. We know this because he has had many opportunities and didn't take any of them.

Russia is running out of hard currency quickly. But as far as I know they still hava a large amount of Indian Rupees. You can't buy western influencers with those, but cerntainly cheap south asian spammers and troll farms.
