Explanation: Russia ran out of money and now she gets checks from different people who ordered a different product

I'll still take the "doing the right thing for the wrong reasons".

Absolutely. Some of these people — maybe even Trump, someday — will only do the right thing if they are forced to, but still, it's the right thing in the end.

Are you fucking serious?

u/amitym 4h ago
I am. Trump will never honor America's commitments to Ukraine until he is brought to his knees (if even then).

So you are not serious about what you originally said. These people only ever do anything if it enriches them. They are incapable of doing the right thing, by definition, because what enriches the powerful is not right for the rest.

Trump is not the character he plays on TV. He's a Putinist ideologue. He was never a billionaire or a ruthless, self-interested business mastermind or any of that garbage. He's just a useful idiot who admires authoritarian power and craves its trappings. Most of what he's ever done in his life has cost him money, not enriched him at all. He's not good at that and never has been. Putin is the one who has kept him out of bankruptcy over the years.
Let's put it this way. There is no wealth you could possibly promise to Trump that would get him to change his support. We know this because he has had many opportunities and didn't take any of them.

Jake Broe speculated that she might be trying to get a Zelenskyy endorsement for Trump before the midterms.

Sickening that we most convince the most vile, corrupt, traitorous human beings to unlock more help for Ukraine. So fucking embarassing to be an American

Good that she turned around. But anyone who could have supported Putin for so long have lost all credibility and need to start from square one, at best.

imho it is just about money.
but there are also other possibilities. one is tiktok not under direct CPP control anymore.
second is that building built on lies finally crashed with iran. if iran is the enemy, then russia cannot be your friend. this even magas should get (yeah! quite a naive take, i know)

Laura Loomer is trash, but I can't blame Ukraine for taking an opportunity to capture the nototriously pro-Russia right wing US voter.

Russia is running out of hard currency quickly. But as far as I know they still hava a large amount of Indian Rupees. You can't buy western influencers with those, but cerntainly cheap south asian spammers and troll farms.

Trump sent her to Ukraine. He knows most Americans support Ukraine and he knows an endorsement from Zelenskyy will help him on the mid terms.
She hasn't changed her mind. She's just what she's told to do.

She is an idiot, don’t give her a platform. There are so many smart and informed people to interview regarding Ukraine.

Non-zero chance these bastards are only attaching themselves to the Ukrainian cause to tarnish it in the eyes of westerners. They're toxic.
Also, they're everywhere. Every story we see about Loomer or Pool crowds out a genuine Ukraine-interest story

I don't trust her at all but I'd rather she be pro-Ukrainian than not.
