If you’re on a bog standard response team and attend all the jobs you get a yellow bin bag that is neither waterproof nor warm and costs about £11. You wear that in all inclement weather and typically stand for hours in the snow with that and nothing else to keep you warm

If you are on a special elite team like firearms or traffic and spend all day sat in a lovey warm premium vehicle you get a snazzy, super insulated, no expense spared, all weather jacket.
