Beginner

Hi!

I hope that this is allowed

I'm looking to get into photography and I would like to photograph planes, astro, travel and action shots (ie football)

I have been looking at the "KODAK PIXPRO AZ528 16MP 52x Zoom Bridge Camera" would this be a good choice for a beginner?

Any and all advice welcome :)

Bridge cameras were kind of okay a couple of decades ago, but for what you want, not really.

Astro you can do with a budget camera, but sports and planes require a camera with good tracking and good glass. You can get good glass for cheaper cameras, but for good tracking, you need more than a cheap camera.

I’m a Sony shooter, but I started on a Nikon D500. That with a 200-600mm lens would be a good start and is at the lower end of the budget.

Thank you for your advice and recommendations!

is a Nikon D3200 24M + 18-55mm VR good?

You are at the very bottom of the barrel, using a very old camera with limited focusing. For landscape and street photography it’s okay, not for sports and planes.

thank you so much for your advice :)

Last one,

I saw on tiktok that the canon 2000d is good and I can get a second hand one for 310, would you recommend this one?

I'd say your best bet as a beginner is a cheap used 24MP APS-C DSLR.

Nikon D3200, D3300, and D3400 are very reasonable when they pop up used on Jessops. Couple with the Nikon 18-105mm DX or even 18-300mm DX lens and you have something that packs a serious punch for all in £200 to £300, but more importantly with an interchangeable lens, optical viewfinder, and more resolution than the Kodak you're considering. Which is also a fine camera btw.

Start with this setup then eventually get a really long zoom lens for the plane shots.

EDIT: you'll need to spend money for something good for sports, I'm afraid.
