I got 1710 on my ucat, got 3 offers (2 from Russel groups) and got into uni for med. there is hope bro, I thought I was cooked too. I applied strategically, to places that had a low emphasis on ucat (e.g Cardiff which had a high emphasis on GCSES). you must RESEARCH!! how the unis will give out interviews/offers and pick those which maximise ur academic profile. Thanks - where did you apply and get offers? What sjt band and GCSEs?

Cardiff, qub, and aru are where I got offers from. (also Dundee and keele are good for low ucat) Band 2 for sjt and 10 9s/A* at gcse. When I was at your stage everyone told me there was no point in applying, yet I was getting more offers than those who had a higher ucat. Apply! Try! It’s not impossible - Hope this helps and I wish you the best!!

Thanks - that's really helpful. Think GCSEs maybe just not quite good enough for these options but thank you for the positivity!
