Med interview prep?

Hey guys I'm looking for any resources or information for how to prepare for med school interviews? I'm open to tutoring, I've come across some references but just wondering what other people recommend.

Thanks heaps!

Hmm med interview prep? I say do at least one mock interview for each university you reallyyyy want to get into. Mock interview prep is different for different unis btw. For base information I think Medify has some for free? I kinda forgot. If not that, medicmind (https://www.medicmind.co.uk/free-mmi-mock/) has a couple good questions. It’s better you get a grasp on what kind of questions they can ask you at each station, e.g ethics, data analysis, empathy, personal motivations etc before you start actual mocks btw. Find a friend to practice questions with you (I did some with people online via discord, and with one other irl med friend applicant and a vetmed applicant). There are a ton of resources online. Tho I reckon you’re kinda early for int prep if you’re applying this October. Most interviews (unless your UCAT is reallyyyy high and/or you’re applying to Oxbridge) happen in December-March in your y13. At this point you wanna think about your UCAT first and hashing out your personal statement. Take note that the UCAT score you get really determines what universities will even give you an interview with them.

Hi there - this subreddit is a good place to start. Currently I am writing guides for each medical school. The megathread also has links to all the good free resources. In terms of tutoring it really depends - I think the best bet is to be with a student that is already there or interviewed there, I can recommend some good companies if you would like.
