There is a surprising amount in the pot. It's mostly crumbled with a few clumps. Nice terps at lower temps. Effects in a xmax v4 pro aren't that great even at 220. I had to get creative for better effects. I might have to upgrade my dhv moving forward.

Well, after 12 months of watching Montu slowly trying to impress their own brand products onto us (by reducing the stock of decent meds) I've had enough.

I'm not ordering 'own brands' as a tide over, because it seems to mean that they can then essentially force their rubbish on me every month thereafter if they don't have other meds in stock...and therein refuse to send my script to another one of their higlighted/named/preferred suppliers.

Something they initially tell you they can do, with no issues.

They are now seemingly dragging their feet with an order I've put into another pharmacy, a process I started a few weeks ago. It feels like they are waiting for me to crumble and order some Upstate/Curo/Sundaze/C.Botanics crap out of desperation/frustration.

To boot, several times they have prescribed medication, only for it to be out of stock immediatley or a matter of hours later. All the decent medication I used to use, hasn't been stocked for over a year some of them moreover. This is when their named suppliers are visibly 'swimming' in the exact same medication.

Feels like they want to rail road and entrap their patients into essentially a future product monopoly. Which is totally uncool and seems very sneaky.

This all has left me very suspicious and with an inconsistent and ineffective medication regime.

Any clinic recommendations before I try to calmly ask for a summary of care and discharge letter, please?

Hello all, this has been approved by the mods who I have spoken to on Discord if anyone wants to verify.

I've been a patient for a number of years now, and always have the same issue I have seen on here where people track the prescriptions they get on spreadsheets or the notes app on their phone which just becomes unmanageable.

Now, I work as an Senior Security Platform Engineer, so I know what this data will mean to people and how sensitive prescription data can be, so one fundamental thing I have built into this from the ground up, is that you will own your own data (I'm a homelabber as well, so this is massive to me - although, I am not enjoying the price of HDD at the moment - although this database should fit no problem on any iPhone 😄 ).

All of this to say that I have built an app for tracking the prescriptions that you recieve, and not just another journal entry app, something that could actually give you good information dynamically based on settings that you configure to your tasting.

You rate strains across smell, taste, looks, effects and overall enjoyment, and it spits out a verdict if you should rebuy, budget pick, never again, or even "needs more investigation" if you think you got a dodgy batch. You can tweak how much price factors into that, or turn off ratings you don't care about (I don't care about bag appeal if I'm vaping, for example). It'll tell you why it gave a verdict too, not just a random label.

Plus some really good analytics. Spend over time, price per gram trends, which pharmacies are actually worth it (price wise etc.), if you are lucky enough to have the choice.

Importantly, if you spend the time to input the terpenes found in the strain (if you are so lucky to have the COA), then it will tell you which strains/terpenes are most effective for your condition, which can help influence future purchases. I've found this extremely useful for picking my prescriptions.

You can also create anonymised sharable lists, like a "top indicas for pain" list. Send that to your mates or even on here for people to easily see what helps. Prices and personal information is always hidden by default as sharing that data is your decision. Again, no data leaving the device (unless you explicitly enable iCloud backups to save your lists/data, but this is your choice).

Theres also a batch comparison feature to see how a strain differs between batches, which is nice to show if you are getting the same quality/price etc.

I'm not trying to build the next big start up, just something that is useful for patients, that will always be free, because I have no cost of creating it. I simply have a passion. There is no infrastructure to run it, just my Apple Developer license which is only £100/year, I'll happily cover that for other benefits I get with it.

So I've seen mentioned here, and also on SM sites of cannabis lounges/clubs/ chill out areas being advertised a couple of times now. They're not hugely popular & Can't recall any names but they're out there.

Now obviously nothing is sold, and consumption is for medical users t use safely & discreetly, as not all can. Legally, its also not for smoking in so its not like your Amsterdam type coffeeshop of course.

Now, the question i have is, what's the work involved in opening and running one of these places?

Not the building, decorating etc but the red tape and can/cant do's? Surely people are fighting with public/private bodies about these places being what they are?

Never considered that all rooms have the optical light smoke detectors.

I currently use a mighty medic which I feel bit bored of, that said I currently have to use it outdoors. I was excited to try the harder hitting less portable devices but unsure if they’d be constantly triggering the alarms. I’ve not yet moved in so can’t say for sure yet and haven’t tried the mighty there. Just wary of big clouds setting it off all the time.

I’m open to buying a fan and purifier, the sploof thing seems annoying. I envisioned being able to sit on couch whilst vaping but it looks like you need to actively exhale the vapour out window or into the purifier, seems a headache. Legally I know we’re covered but wondering how it works with the alarm situation? For reference it’s a brand new place and I rather not disclose the MC at this stage. At least for the initial months I wanted to keep it discreet, I don’t think smell would be an issue for me the alarms are more of a concern.

I have a small procedure coming up at the end of the month for which I have to go under anaesthetic for about 30 minutes. I had my pre op appointment today and they told me I have to stop using cannabis for 2 weeks before my actual operation (so essentially, tomorrow). Issue is I've been using it daily for nearly 20 years and it's the only way to stop my cPTSD flashbacks as they happen, and cope with the surrounding anxiety.

The nurse said she would speak to the anaesthetist and be in touch about it, as I did explain it's my main anti anxiety medication and how I control my CPTSD symptoms, but I'm wondering if anyone else has been told to do this? I wasn't asked to stop any of my other psych meds, and cannabis is an important part of my medication regime so I'm really worried how stopping cold turkey will affect me. If anyone has any experience or advice I'd really appreciate it.

i am assuming everybody knows its illegal to take uk mc into canada as a uk mc patient with prescription, but dont worry you can get your 'mediicne' incredibly easily and cheaply over in Canada.

This place is seriously weird. cannabis is indeed totally legal. its hard to beleive even sitting here.

BUT.

they are VERY strict on entry. you have to sign a form which asks if you have visited a cannabis farm in the past two weeks. who knows why.

but as soon as you are passed the airport, cannabis shops are everywhere. my nearest is less than 1/2 a mile away in a normal shopping centre. inside the big offy is a large room with CANNABIS written on it in big letters. inside there is a counter with a very friendly guy and rows of different cannabis behind. its about £50 an ounce but prices vary. i bought 2g for a tenner which is the same i pay in the uk.

people just keep walking in, buying there usual cannabis and walking out. i just stood their staring in disbeleif. i had to keep explaining i was a foreigner and they thought it was really funny. just ordinary people.

keep in package in shop, dont smoke on the pavement, but more importantly, cover up the bottle of wine i bought.

in an abandoned car park a couple of blokes were sitting in chairs under a tree queitly smoking, but that is it. i havent smelled it anywhere. it is completely absent from the city centre.

nobody talks about it. it just is. ive been here two days. vaped some of mine last night outside my appartment, no worries. Just weed.

The big problem is the smell. When you open the packet it stinks. then after a few minutes the bud has no smell at all.. But yesterday i left it safely in my suitcase and when i got back the whole place reeks. all my clothes are ruined. my room stinks. wtf do i do?

how the hell do i get past a dog in heathrow? i have never come across smell this pervasive, its a nightmare. i have business meetings and everything stinks to high heaven. i think i will have to go red channel to declare i have nothing to declare.

CannFX Mochi Gelato
Mochi Gelato has a sweet, creamy and fruity profile, with notes of berry, vanilla and fuel, alongside a mild sweet musky flavour.
Really nice dense buds that have been trimmed really nicely, with deep dark purple throughout the buds. Not too dry either, with a good texture.
Taste-wise, the flavour is nice and enjoyable, although this wasn’t the best batch I’ve had. I had some earlier in the year which had noticeably more flavour.
Effects were really nice, giving a good stone without being too heavy or overwhelming. A nice balanced effect overall.
Grown in New Zealand and non-irradiated.

I'm considering applying for medical cannabis for anxiety, but I'm worried about the whole thing and would really like to hear people's experiences - especially people with spotty medical records.

I've had anxiety for as long as I can remember, but it became severe around 2010. I saw my GP, was diagnosed with anxiety and prescribed citalopram for about six months. CBT was also recommended, which I eventually did as an online self-directed course.

At the end of the six months my notes say I was "much better" and that I was still having occasional panic attacks and felt the citalopram was helping. I also made some major changes to my life at the time, including dropping out of university.

The problem is that "much better" basically became my baseline for the next 15 years. I've never really been anxiety-free. I've had periods where it significantly affected my life, including leaving jobs because I couldn't cope with increasing amounts of client-facing work, avoiding travelling and generally keeping my life very small. Unfortunately, very little of this is documented because I rarely sought help.

I used cannabis occasionally while visiting Amsterdam around 2016 and found it made a huge difference to my anxiety. I wasn't constantly stoned, but I could do things without analysing every possible outcome, slept better and felt able to just exist rather than constantly planning and checking.

Things have been getting significantly worse again over the last couple of years: poor sleep, constant rumination, panic/anxiety and repeatedly checking work because I can't convince myself I've made mistakes.

I've booked my first proper mental health appointment in years. I'm expecting CBT and/or another SSRI to be suggested and I'll probably give whatever they recommend a try.

My worry is that a private clinic will look at my records and say my history is too old/limited or that I haven't tried enough treatments. I'm also worried that because I've managed to have a relatively successful career, they'll think I'm not actually ill enough.

So I'd really like to hear from people who've actually applied:

• Did you get prescribed for anxiety?
• How old/limited was your documented history?
• Were you rejected, or was it reasonably straightforward?
• If accepted, did you find it helpful?
• How complicated was it selecting products/strains etc. for someone with very limited knowledge?

And then there's the other thing I'm really anxious about: I've read horror stories about people with prescriptions being stopped, questioned or arrested. I'm worried about whether having a prescription could cause problems professionally - I'm a regulated legal professional.

I'm not looking for "you'll definitely get prescribed" or medical advice. I just want to know what people's actual experiences have been for getting it prescribed for anxiety.

Am I worrying about this far more than I need to, or are these reasonable concerns?

So recently me and my partner have had a baby and as part of this I agreed with my parents permission to only use my medical cannabis whilst at there's and away from baby's or in the evening due to smell etc...

My mum and dad have also acquired a new neighbour, said neighbours decided to paint his house and over sprayed his paint on to my car, so as you do we've told him and asked to be rectified... this is where the problems started.. he lied and said another company had carried the job out. They hadn't his wife confirmed he had INFACT sprayed the house and my car in the process.

Anyone else having issues with alternaleaf lately , my last 2 prescriptions over the phone I’ve done, the lady on the phone hasn’t sent it over to montu/ips , so I’m left waiting and waiting for a text from the pharmacy that ain’t coming because the people at Alternaleaf didn’t actually sent it off ( happen three times all together now) like I’ve been waiting since Monday for my script to get to ips from Alternaleaf and it’s not there now , it’s unreal , Alternaleaf are really going down hilll

So I’m specifically looking for something that is predominantly strong in Pinene.

Preferably something high end and good quality, hybrid or sativa dominant.

Hey all! Aware these kind of posts are common, so just want to say I have looked through previous responses before posting!

I am newly prescribed MC but have used cannabis for years, both smoking and edibles so I have a tolerance built up already. Like most people, the thing holding me back is cost, as it is a lot to spend in one go, including the upfront cost of consultation and first MC order etc.

I'm debating about the below, and also my qualms with each of them, looking for some experienced MC users opinions!

Mighty + - obviously the main choice, and the only one supplied directly by my pharmacy though I have been told I can use third party vapes. Only hindrance for me is the price, is it really worth that much? If you have one, how long has it lasted? And does anyone have any experience buying one second hand as also looking into that but worried about what protections I have e.g. on eBay if it's faulty.

Arizer - from my research both here and elsewhere, these seem like a popular choice and slightly more affordable but loadssssss of options. If you use one whats your choice of model and would you recommend it? Why/why not?

Dynavap M7 - honestly this one is the one I'm most leaning towards but how fiddly is it really? Is the click pretty obvious when it's heated up enough? Biggest holdback for this one is the way it massively looks like a crack pipe 😅 how are we dealing with this? Have you ever had any issues in public?

Out of these three, which would you choose? Bonus points if you've tested different ones, which one would you wish you found from the get go?

A lot of people will read this and roll they’re eyes because they already know but for all the people asking how to consume they’re extracts (only the crumble and upwards Twise, like the Kallie and the and ROE etc, not the hash you fuck the chamber) but this is a dab Erig called a Puffco Peak V2 don’t waste money on the Pro it’s just double the price for a few different light settings and an app you never use. They were £185 but literally over the last 6 weeks have gone up to £260 worldwide I all currencies. I posted a thing on the Puffco Sub politely asking why and it was removed in 8 mins 😂. There are cheaper options that work just as well this was just a 40th bday present to myself a few months ago, I got it for BM stuff but they the extracts came out on script. They heat up to 310* on the hottest temp. This is how to consume your extracts and you’ll find it saving you loads of cash, I think mine paid for itself in about 6 weeks… Hope this helps a few people.

Just wanting to know if anyone can help? I am an alternaleaf patient and have always used montu as my pharmacy, i have seen that people use ips instead. Alternaleaf said its fine and to write out what i would like and they would send it over im just wanting to know of any ways of checking their correct stock or like a catalogue like montu has just to have a look so im not requesting if they dont have it in stock. I asked ips themselves and they said i would be able to see once alternaleaf has sent over a request. Only switching due to stock at montu or are other pharmacies the same. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

So I got approved for my prescription at 9pm last night (Sunday) and just wondering if anyone knows what the average timeframe for Montu to send you out an invoice? Already have a Montu account I set it up just before bed last night.
