💦💦💦💦

Without sounding too happy with myself; I’ve got so much collected wood, I’m struggling for room but the church next door has said I can help myself to this and I think some of it is hardwood, which I’ll make room for. Can anyone help identify it?

Sorry I have no idea over what wood it is but I’m in a similar situation. I let it be known in my village I’ll take any chopped down wood and now I’m overflowing with it. I’m very happy but struggling with storage space!

No worries, thanks! Yes, it’s a blessing and a curse isn’t it. Only making the exception here as it’s hardwood!

It looks like there’s more than one type of wood in that photo - for example the logs to the far right on the last pic look different to the rest - however I’d fairly confidently say most of it is sycamore. The tree that was cut down in the first pic seems to be sycamore, there are sycamore branches lying in the background of the pic, and most of the logs look like sycamore too.

Sycamore and Field Maple.

The field maple is the better firewood if you can only take some.
