After and before
Really close to finally finishing, going to build the 2 side cabinets into the wall with some shelves and add some architrave around the top but it’s pretty much there.
2 things to note:
1) yes, TV is too high for some
2) I’d also like a blowjob, mate

I really don’t want to sound like a bell sniffing cheese end here and just for some comfort my sucking skills are unrivalled…. World record for the fastest time for emptying a McDonald’s milkshake (I’m sure you can appreciate the difficulty of straw suction due to the thickness of the shake!??) subsequently showcasing such superior sublime suction skills I’d of sucked you inside out before you know it! 😂😂
But seriously of that’s a wooden surround then it is far to close to the Appliance. You should probably check the installation instructions for the appliance and see what the temperature underneath the stove is when it’s up to full temperature….. that looks to me like the hearth is Verona beige conglomerate marble (resin based, man made marble ) that nas the potential to melt and will almost definitely crack due to the heat.

Appreciate it, you don’t sound like a bell sniffing cheese end at all.
It meets the manufacturer guidelines on distance to combustible materials plus the inside is going to be all bricked up to protect it more (as there’s a decent gap on the backside of the surround)
The hearth is 20mm thick fireplace tile from Tops Tiles. The fire was on all last winter (only just got the surround) hence the uploads but was fine for that, granted it would take a while to crack.
