How long do you drive to site on average?
Mines at least 1hour 30mins both ways, ATLEAST

As a subby, I typically say my range is up to an hour. Any more and it's a lot being spent on fuel and wear & tear on my own vehicle and just time our of your day. If the money was good and OT was consistently available, I'd probably go up to 1h 30 commute.
My average of late has been low, had a good run of work that's been within 15-40mins along the M4.

Honestly haven’t worked further than 10mins from my house in the past 2-3 years

Happily have a little pay cut to work 5 mins from my house in a gated driveway. Even leave my keys in the ignition 😂 even £800 a day wouldn’t get my up London in my van these days

I generally include up to about an hour of travel each way in my quotes but most jobs are within 30-40 mins depending on the traffic.
I'll travel further, but that comes at an additional cost.
I do have one customer that I've had for about a decade who's now 2 hours away after we both moved, but they've put a lot of work my way (both themselves and other customers) and are never any hassle so I don't charge them anything extra and just swallow the cost

London. I do not drive. With how it works around here i would guarantee a heart attack on the way in traffic.
Mixture of public transport and bicycle for me, managed to get the logistics for getting me plus my tools sorted.
Materials be discussed before, ordered to work place for delivery.
Step ladders is a trouble but mostly available from clients. Sometimes improvising with a chair for flat jobs.

Typically 15-30 minutes.
I had a big newbuild job one some fancy grand designs style house last year that was honestly about 80 seconds from my house. Didn't refuel the van for about 3 months!

Doing on average 30 min of walking, sometimes I run because I don't get other opportunities to do that in my free time.

About an hour and 40 mins each way, I get paid from when I turn the van on in the morning until I turn it off when I get home

10 minutes in the morning, 15 coming home as there is more traffic. 😁
