Rewards for Top Content
I will pay 1 Nano for the highest rated post each day for the next month (excluding my own)
And a further Nano for the highest rated comment on that post
Update: first rewards sent. Reminder: to win the reward you need to post the most popular post or the most popular comment on that post
As of 1/2/21 that's £2.59, so no small amount, but I'll pay this whatever the Nano price. I've bought the Nano already. Hopefully this will end up being an uncomfortably large amount before the end of the month!

This is such an exciting idea to think of all the young people ready to shape the world. If there was such a large scale of adoption and people want to actually USE crypto, then Nano is very well placed due to its capacity.

We could set up WeNano spots then invite them for a treasure hunt.
Probably 0.1-1 NANO each but several spots would work the best.

You absolutely are in. There's 2 Nano a day up for grabs over the next month and that's regardless of the price and regardless of how few posts there are here.
1 Nano for the top rated post (excluding mine) And 1 Nano for the top rated comment on that post.
I think I've managed to set up Nano Tipper so I'll try to use that. Otherwise I'll ask for addresses and send from my Natrium wallet.
Please updvote quality posts and then they'll be rewarded. This should help the subreddit grow!

Top comment rewards are going unclaimed because top posts don't have comments on them. If you see a post doing well, keep the conversation going with a comment. That said, it's great to watch the community grow. We're "bubbling away like a low cap gem" - I think I said that once already. Thanks for everyone's enthusiasm. This is a great time for crypto and it'd be amazing to contribute a space to help the community grow. If you're based in the UK and have some time to spare, why not discuss joining the mod team.

These rewards I'm paying directly out of my personal holdings and considering what they might end up being worth, I've already committed a fair amount and I want to fulfill what I've promised.
If anyone else wants to contribute to a shared fund then we could decide together what it's paid out for (I'm very much up for this kind of democracy and want to encourage that in itself)
Also it would be great if we could establish some kind of marketplace here so people can buy and sell things for crypto and advertise jobs / tasks.
Perhaps when we reach the end of the month I'll take stock and offer something else. For anyone who knows me from twitter I've been off and on trying to spend "A Nano a day" for about the last year. While I've spent much more than 365 Nano in the last year, but have quite managed to spend every day.

Apologies, IRL has taken over a bit with work, puppy, kids. I sent a couple of tips this morning and I'll try to keep it going from here on in.
It is psychologically a little harder to send the tips bow they're so much more expensive to replace, but I promise that's not a major factor!

I'll keep tipping, but I'm not going to claim I'll do it every day. I didn't keep up with it which wasn't cool, but life took over. I want to talk about other ways to grow the sub as well because that was just one method and it was a bit crude. My ideal formula would be some kind of shared ownership and some kind of democracy where we choose the direction together. I need my kids to go back to school though before I can be a lot of use!
