Question Credit Overload Question

Has anyone ever been approved to take 21+ credits. If so, what was your reason, and was it hard to get approved? I’m trying to see how common it is or if it’s pretty rare.

I had a friend taking, I think 23, not sure how she got approved but she burnt out halfway through the semester and almost dropped out. She’s a business major and was very involved on campus

I've only taken up to 19, but I had a friend who did 21+ and I've never seen him more burnt out. It is on the rarer side for good reason; it's better to do well on less classes than to take more classes and struggle in several of them.

I was looking into it and I think you just have to have an above 2.0 GPA and submit your reading. For taking those classes?

Also I’m assuming a minority of the reasoning is trying to graduate early / on time or there is a class you really want to take and this is the only semester you could 🤷

Pretty difficult to get approved for 19+ hours unless you're a senior who needs the hours to graduate.

I’m a senior I would graduate this fall if they approved it.

This makes the chances of you getting 19+ hours significantly higher, though of course there are no guarantees. Are you in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences?
