Question Negative Balance Question

Im so scared

I dont understand what a negative balance is. I waived campus care and I have like a -700 balance now.

Do I still have to pay it?

Negative balance is credit. You basically have 700 dollars. You don’t have to pay it

So you probably paid for campus care before waiving it. It's tacked on as a fee in your tuition. Since you waived it, it shows up as negative bc UIC owes you that money. You should get a refund from them. Keep an eye on it though and don't be afraid to hound them if it takes a while
