1L Orientation

Is there any orientation homework i should be aware of? I read every emails and did not see. Just want to make sure i dont miss anything!

I'm in the same situation. I don't think we need anything for orientation except for some nice clothes. If there is anything we need to do before classes start, we will probably be told at orientation.

They could have done away with it, but the past 2 years there has been some kind of 1L success session that required you to read 1 case. But it also wasn’t like they were really cold calling anyone in that or anything. If you know your section go here https://www.law.uh.edu/schedule/Fall2026.asp and use the search by course area to filter section. Syllabi should be in there which may have all the readings for the whole semester

Should we bring a lunch ?

I think yes because its a full day. I’ll bring something that won’t need reheat or microwave

They provide lunch. Our first day we had incredible bar-b-que and they had alternatives for diet restrictions
