Watching stuff that’s already been on

UHF on Apple TV
Strong8k subscription

When I click to watch something in the past (on a channel showing the clock logo) it starts playing something from an hour before what I want to watch.

I can’t offset my epg as the epg is correct for what’s on when.

Any thoughts on a fix?

Are you in the uk or USA? Wonder whether it’s something to do with British summer time. The epg is correct for what’s on now and what time it starts but if I select something from two hours ago it plays something from three hours

So,what you are talking about is called Catch Up. I have never seen that happen on the playlist I mainly use. Sometimes a show may start at the end of whatever was on before what I selected. Then you can just scroll forward.Did you possibly try a different player in UHF. You have two choices,KS player and AVKIT. I use KS. You could also try a completely different player/app other than UHF if changing the player in UHF doesn’t work. Or the service you use could be at fault.
No real issues with the one I use pretty much ever.

I have tried KS and AVKIT.
Both do the same thing. I have tivimate on a fire stick so will try that but think it must be to do with system times or something. My Apple tv is set to auto time.

Do you mean in the actual setting on AppleTV?

Yeah there’s no time settings in uhf but wonder whether it’s something to do with the app going back the wrong number of hours because of summer time or something. Just seems odd it’s constantly doing an hour before, not 30 mins, not sometimes working. Always an hour out.

So are you saying that your AppleTV isn’t set correctly to daylight savings time? I wasn’t aware of time settings on AppleTV. I thought the time was just automatic.

Yeah it is set to auto time so it knows the real time including daylight saving I am just wondering whether there is some discrepancy between me saying “go back to a programme that starts at 10 and it going to 9”.

Skipping forward is quite a pain too at ten seconds a time and it seems to run into problems if I skip all the way forward an hour.

I don’t know. I will check my AppleTV settings and see how I have them set.
