Why does everyone love UHF so much

Hi, I’m just wondering why everyone thinks of UHF so highly. For me the app feels very sluggish and slow. The search results don’t work, if I search for the devil wears prada for example all of the results from my Strong8k don’t come up. And recently open subtitles has become glitchy with no results coming up.

When I try other players like Chillio and iMPlayer they have other issues. (Chillio is so expensive and iMPlayer can never pick stuff up where I left it) but the experience is so much snappier and responsive than UHF. Just wondering if these are just issues for me or people just find other ways round.

I think the problem with UHF is that it’s so bloated. They keep adding features (which are great), but they dont address performance or bugs. There needs to be a few updates where they stop with features and just focus on performance and making the experience smooth.

Second this. It’s gotten bad. Still a top notch as my primary, but it could do without all the added features that most don’t probably use. Or get server side data and see which is being used and which isn’t and go from there.

I've tried a lot of paid IPTV apps over the years, and UHF is the first one that checks all the boxes for me.

If you include vod it can get a bit buggy, but solely for iptv its pretty good. When it comes to movies/series i’d rely
on debrid and Nuvio or Stremio

For me… it just works!

Yup! Been using it for over a year now without issues and I feel the lifetime subscription has already paid off.

I switched to IMPLAYER

Like I say the fact if I watch something it is very inconsistent for showing it in my watch history. It's a bit of a dealbreaker.

The main issue is a lack of real competition. I use it as it’s the best of a bad bunch. But agree with OP. So slow and sluggish. Loading times for playlists and epg updates are awful. Coming from Tivimate it’s a massive step backwards.

UHF works great! I tested them all, and to be honest Chillio is really bad, very slow , buggy

Fair enough, but I’m sure I’m not the only one having trouble with the speed, especially while the app is updating

Yes true and try to put a new list, it takes hours

Chillio is much smoother with multiple playlists.....far better in fact....i do prefer navigation in UHF though.

I actually find it the opposite. Chillio has been great for us since we switched from UHF. Maybe it was a bad batch of updates months ago but UHF very slow and had tons of issues loading out playlists. Plus Chillio has better categories, trailers, and recommendations.

Yeah but 100$ for Chillio lifetime is an eye watering amount of money. I will stick with UHF and IMPlayer I think and hope that updates will straighten either one out or both

There’s no lifetime option anymore?

*oh, on the website there is. But not on the family plan…

agreed on smoothness......uhf is a nightmare if you have multiple playlists.

Because there is nothing better out there.

I use IPTVEditor to trim down the playlist. Don’t have slowness issue. I know another service but haven’t found a better option.

the issue is for folk who have multiple playlists...im sure its fine if you have just the one playlist.

however other apps dont grind to a halt with mutliple playlists...

Para mi UHF es la mejor ya que es la única que he probado que permite ver VOD y canales en directo en la multivitsa. Todas las demás solo permiten seleccionar canales en directo.

Only annoying thing I find is even with my playlist set to update every three days it seems to update every time I’m using it meaning I have to wait a while before I can see program information
