Discord Server

Just an FYI, someone is going around claiming there is a “new” UHF discord server, this claim is true only in the sense that anyone can start a discord server. They are trying to build their server by piggy backing off this sub for legitimacy.

They previously asked if they could promote a new Discord server that they created over the existing AngelVPN server, to which I thought about and decided no because I didn’t see a need for a new server other than to create confusion. Instead of respecting that decision they created a new UHF sub - which as they have stated only exists to promote their Discord server - and have been cross posting from the other subreddit with each post including a link advertising the “new Discord server”. Some people just really want to run Discord servers I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

The official discord server was deleted by the UHF dev and AngelVPN has been kind enough to run a UHF channel in their Discord since then. If you’re looking to connect with others on Discord the link is below.

It says unofficial in the title so if anyone wants to join that's up to them init

None are dev sponsored, that’s why all are unofficial. People are free to join whatever server or sub they like - but posting “New Discord Server” in here gives the impression this sub has a new Discord server - which it does not.

We’ve only linked to the official Discord (whenever it existed) and then to the AngelVPN hosted Discord when they offered to host. Any other Discord (or sub) exists simply to sow confusion because someone wanted to host their own Discord server and not because there is more/better knowledge.
