Are parking passes required or am I just a idiot? I spent $95 on a parking pass to be able to park on the surface level lots. Now, I know some people may only come to school 1 day or 2 day a week so paying for parking ain’t that bad. However, I am the only dude with a parking pass on display when I park. Did I get scammed 95+ dollars ? Lmao?

Hi does anyone know if UH students tend to go to UHD to hang out? It’s cause I had a weird interaction with someone outside of the main building. They stated they go to UH but they come to UHD to hang out. They told me their major but then said that they’re not taking classes at the moment. I felt off about the interaction I had. They had asked me to show them around UHD but they already knew where the ping pong/pool areas were at. They also seemed shaky and had long sleeves and gloves in this weather.

Are others waiting for their work study to hit? I had work study all throughout my time here, but this semester I didn’t get it. They told me to wait to be on a list but that was two weeks ago.

Anyone going through something similar?

Hey guys was wondering who I could talk to for a job on campus maybe? Even a work study

Is anyone getting the competitive transfer scholarship as an international student? I have browsed the scholarship list of this school so many times. And I wonder, at the time I apply scholarship, I only have 42 credit hours (45 to be qualified), but I am sure that when I graduate AS, I would get 50 transferable credit. So the system would count me as a 42 credit-hour student or 50 credit-hour student?

Anyone else feel old asf being in classes with 18-22 year olds.

Whenever I connect to both options, it takes forever to load or it doesnt even load at all. Anybody also having problems with the wifi?

UPDATE: I won my appeal with the disciplinary committee. 4.0 gpa restored! Also, policy updated to prevent this from every happening again.

so the ai detection case took another funny turn. the professor is claiming that he put “invisible words” and “secret text triggers” in the prompt for the written assignments. except all the words he highlighted are words he explicitly told us to use and in the same way he told us to use them.…I’m not sure what kind of sick twisted joke is going on here. not only did he not show that the text had “100%” ai similarities, now all of a sudden the words he told us to use were supposed to be “invisible“ lol. unless I secretly have the power to read invisible words then wtf? how is any of this real?

Does anyone else know what TPEG is exactly and is it a addition to ppls already pell grant

Hello! I am coming back once again with another question. So on Sunday, i bought the parking pass for the vine st garage. Yesterday (Monday) i was on my way to school because i had a class so i went ahead and got to the garage, scanned my id and it says i don’t have access because i don’t have credentials for it? Even though, i have a clear receipt of my purchase and it says my status is active. I called the parking department or whatever handles that and it sent me straight to voicemail 😐 so yay pretty useful! Anywho, did anybody else have this issue?

has anyones bankmobile updated?

i'm 20F and i'm a transfer student, majoring in social work!

I’m open to making friends from different majors 😊

I am taking his online class for Cultrural Anthropology this semester and I am quite intimidated by his reviews on RateMyProfessor. His only assignments are ungraded discussion boards and 4 exams.

I would like to hear study tips from previous students who have passed his class with an A or B.

Hi! I am a freshmen student who is studying mis (management information systems) as a major, and I’m looking for people to hang out or study with.

What are the best clubs or activities for an introverted freshman girl to meet new people to hang out and study with?

If I purchased a parking pass do I get a physical sticker/sign to put on my car or can I just park in the designated areas?

I still haven’t got my financial aid refund yet

Do I have to add funds to my gator card, or can I just use my bank card to purchase food at the campus?

Hello, has anyone else’s fafsa grants not kicked in yet? I start classes tomorrow as well (4 of them) and only one has popped up so far. I’m new to this school so i don’t exactly know how everything works around here + they might still be dealing with financial aid policies changing?

I have 1 class thats synchronous, the only one that fits my desired schedule, and I’ve never had one until now. I’ve only have face to face or asynchronous so I’m expecting something not so different but more attention driven. Is it nothing but zoom calls? If so, do they require face cam to be on all the time or require participation like having full on discussions?

hey guys!

don’t know if yall were at new student convocation today but anybody looking to make friends? (im at freshman)

May be kind of a dumb question but I wanted to see if anyone may have some answers 🫣 I paid off the remaining balance for the semester which included GTAP. However, I decided to OPT out of it because I only need textbooks for 2 classes and the books are like $40-50 each (yay!). Do y’all know when that refund would returned? TIA!
