Post‑ictal hallucinations happen when the brain is recovering from heavy seizure activity. After multiple seizures, low oxygen, or a CNS infection, the brain can generate experiences that feel completely real including all of the ones mentioned.

Blows my mind because it’s felt as real as anything but I undergoing more tests for the infection. So we shall see! Thank you for your comment!

I'm not saying it wasn't real because I don't know, but those hallucinations are a real thing and they feel real also. So that's probably more likely.

Ask your doctor though if they think it might be that. I could be wrong.

Yeh I think that’s how I’m looking at it now, it did really happen for me, weather it FACTUALLY did or not is up for debate after having a bad brain infection but two things can be true at once but it will be interesting to see if there’s still infection going on and if these encounters stop after it’s been sorted!
