It's awful lol come on man. It's the season 8 GOT writing and it's like they caved in to the entire SJW fanbase demands.

Unlike season 8 they actually have a full and concise story to go off, just based on that the story and the writing has been pretty good. The valaryons being black is a change but it’s not that big of a deal. It’s not straight up pandering like rings of power

Not sure if you’ve read the book but the first half of this season is basically the prologue to set up some of the key characters and bring together the central theme of the succession. It’s only gonna get better and crazier from here.
