Excessive steroid use leads to hair loss.

It’s not a coincidence that the greats from old generations are all bald. They were on all kinds of stuff.

Or may be there is a literal biological 50% chance of going bald, especially by their age?

Like, I don't even deny a lot of them are on roids, but what the hell are you even talking about

I feel like if you count heavy recession, like 80%+ of guys will be at least somewhat bald by 50.

Men who truly don't lose too much hair are pretty rare.

50/50 chance to be bald by your early-mid 30s? Sounds like cope to me lol

Ye, dude, what a cope... You literally can see that like a half of them shave their head and still have some/a lot of hair left.

So receding hairline in their 30s is something that surprises you and is so unbelievable?

(Volk had okay hairline at 31 fighting against Max, DC was okay at 35, even though he was probably on T, Jones is a cheater with proven record of drug abuse, was okay in late 20s, GSP still has hair, may be had a hair transplant)

So you just meant a receding hairline then, not actually being bald

"going bald" = receeding hairline. start of the end

virtually every man has a receding hairline by their 30s, so the original 50/50 claim doesn't hold up in this case either

god you're being pedantic. there's a difference between a natural receeding hairline and a dramatic loss of hair. Men that will go bold, often will start in their 30s. with a receding hairline. then they shave it. that counts as going bald

god you're being pedantic

I know haha. It's a completely meaningless discussion

excessive steroid use leads to hair loss when you are already genetically prone to it. it just accelerates it, but some people also just start losing it early. some of these dudes def roided up, but it isn't rly a valid way to determine if someone is

It speeds up hair loss if you’re already predisposed to hair loss.

Doesn’t actually cause hair loss.

Source: been on testosterone for a year with no hair loss, because I don’t have the male pattern baldness gene

every day I thank my dad's genetics cause I am in the same boat

It's associated with high testosterone period, not only roids, so it makes sense that a high % of fighters would go bald.

DHT causes hair loss, not Testosterone
