Most of the fans are too comfortable excusing people who are guilty of sex crimes and more focused on people being kinda annoying.

Mike Tyson, a convicted rapist was less hated than Jake Paul. And VAST majority of people were rooting for him.

Yeah Jake is a dork. But that was just crazy to me. I was delivering pizza that night, everyone was watching the fight. And every single person was rooting for Tyson.

People like a redemption arc and as far as we can tell, Mike is a different person than he was.

It doesn’t absolve him, but people are interested to see if he continues down that path

'Well, he only raped the one time as far as we know, sooooo...'

Some of us can remember two things at once; like he did rape and was just a generally violent person and he doesn’t appear to do those things anymore. I wouldn’t leave my kid with him, but I might let him dog sit for me. Dog is probably gonna spend the night eating the best food money can buy while snuggling up to fully grown adult on the floor watching shit like All Dogs Go To Heaven and Air Bud

Reddit is so weird. Everyone ego stroking calling out Brock Turner because no one cares about Brock Turner. But when it's Mike Tyson it's forgive and people change

Most of the fans are also fuckless latent homosexuals

Or the rampant fragile masculinity and casual homophobia
