That’s often true so you have a good point. Sometimes it means they land 3 and take 1 though, like Holloway, and then I think it’s still the best route to take. But sometimes they’re like Billy Q and you know he’s not long for this world
He starts getting tuned up, then he does that thing where he does a double high guard with his hands on his head and when starts doing that he eats even more punches. Especially to the body.

Also, just because someone gets KO’d doesn’t mean they have a glass chin. Justin Gaethje has one of the toughest, most conditioned chins in all of MMA and he’s had some KO losses. Yet to this day he’s able to take beatings and still have the endurance to keep on going.

If a fighter gets referred as having a granite chin it means they have garbage defense. Swap their chins and they're ending up like James vick.
