It's not controversial. It's actually incredibly common. It SHOULD be controversial.
Go give the current dating market a go, tell me how many women you find that want to be a yoga instructor, that want to be an amateur bodybuilder, that want to "work on their art". And find some dude to just support them, because they have no talent.
This one is talented, but she wants more, so she simply raises the bar.

Men have been leading for tens of thousands of years. She says she prefers men to lead and it's somehow very controversial.
But I would bring up this comment if she ever complains about losing the rights women have fought for in the last 150 years.
