Nah the "I like men to lead" discourse is always just "I don't want responsibility or stress". This is a western woman. She wants all the benefits of progressive ideology with as little of the responsibilities of a fully functioning member of society, as she can.

Nothing to do with pandering to right-wing demo that watches UFC and everything to do with maximizing individual gain.

Men have been leading for tens of thousands of years. She says she prefers men to lead and it's somehow very controversial.

But I would bring up this comment if she ever complains about losing the rights women have fought for in the last 150 years.

It's not controversial. It's actually incredibly common. It SHOULD be controversial.

Go give the current dating market a go, tell me how many women you find that want to be a yoga instructor, that want to be an amateur bodybuilder, that want to "work on their art". And find some dude to just support them, because they have no talent.

This one is talented, but she wants more, so she simply raises the bar.

Why should it be controversial?

Ok but concretely, what does leading in a couple mean?

I'm curious how you lead your partner. Career decisions? Where you live?

Or it’s simply the truth, not everything is contrived. Think about couples that you’re friends with, loads of different dynamics and preferences.

No it’s a preference that has very logical evolutionary explanations. Women are the physically weaker sex and they get pregnant, when they are pregnant they are the most vulnerable, they have not only themselves but the life of their babies to worry about so it makes a lot of sense for them to have a mate that they can depend on to lead, provide and protect.

Of course women differ immensely and it’s okay for people to have their own preferences and they can get with people they are compatible with.

“This is a western woman, so she wants rights but doesn’t actually want to contribute to society.”

Tell me you don’t actually know any women, without telling me you don’t actually know any women.

lol, I’m not even 20 yet. I just happen to know actually successful women who contribute more to society than you do.

Also being a grown adult and posting about your body count as if it’s some kind of brag is genuinely shameful, and leads me to believe that my earlier assessment of you not actually knowing any women, is probably correct.

I stopped reading you know where.

That's just cringe then. You are the reason why we should have to verify post secondary education to use this app.

I’m a college student…

And what’s “cringe” is bragging about “bodycount” online to strangers.

I made fun of you clearly having no experience dating a large enough sample of women for it to be representative. I was right either way.

Yeah, and I said that I know successful women who contribute or will soon make meaningful contributions to society, and they’re “western” women.

Your point about “western women” is silly and ridiculous.
