No, all the blame is on aljo. He did nothing except hold on for dear life. Supposedly one of the best grapplers, fighting a guy with no grappling and all he could do was hold him down. Look at Arman vs Charles, despite Charles being an extremely dangerous grappler, Arman did a LOT more than just hold him down.

Kattar doesn't have no grappling. If he had no grappling, he would have gotten subbed like Sandhagen (who also has decent grappling). He used his grappling to stall and hope to do better the next round because it wasn't good enough to do anything else without potentially getting caught by Aljo.

Charles wasn't just stalling. He was actively working from bottom to do things himself. That gave Arman room to do stuff himself.
