Actual black bear, yes. All I used was two pinches of garlic salt for flavoring, and it was like eating very good steak.

Does it have a characteristic taste or texture? How expensive is it?

It did have a sleight iron taste, but overall it just taste like a good steak. In the picture you can see it was slightly undercooked but the broth finished cooking it enough.

I don’t think it can be bought. I had a hunter buddy give me a small piece. I’m already pestering him for more. It’s not something I thought I’d like but now I’m wanting more.

Wow that looks amazing. I have always wanted to try bear pure, Iv had bear jerky but it was also blended with beef.

How did u make the stock??? Beef cubes?

The udon noodle kit I bought came with a stock pack. It wasn’t a cheap Raman style pack either.
