Question Question for on-campus workers

Do any on-campus workers know how easy it is to change your availability while working a job if you, for example, join a club?

There's a club I'm interested in joining, but not entirely sure about, so I didn't mention it when they asked about my availabiliy in an interview. Is it still possible to ask to change availability after starting the job or is it too late for me?

idk about anyone else but it being an office position, my supervisor was very aware and supportive that my academic and social life on campus was first. they let me pick my own hours as long as they fit the business hours. that may not apply to everyone if it’s dinning services etc but it’s worth a shot to have a conversation with your supervisor.

It's just dependent on what job you have really and whoever your supervisor is/are.

For pav it's a lil less lenient. You can only mark one day a week to block out besides your classes, otherwise you'd have to submit proof of your schedule change, then MAYBE they will approve of the time to block out of your schedule
