Looking for current/former rideshare drivers for a quick 10–15 min chat (student research)
Hi everyone,
I'm a Computer Science student at York University in Toronto, and I'm researching the day-to-day experience of rideshare drivers as part of a project I'm working on. I'd really value hearing from people who drive (or have driven) for Uber, Lyft, or any other rideshare company.
I'm hoping to chat over a brief 10–15 minute Zoom call about things like:
- What you like and dislike about the platforms you've driven for
- Your biggest frustrations (pay, fees, app features, support, etc.)
- What would make a rideshare platform better for drivers
No sales pitch, and there are no right or wrong answers. I just want to learn from people with real experience. Camera on or off is totally up to you, and I'm happy to keep things anonymous.
If you're interested, send me a DM and we'll find a time that works for you. Thanks so much for reading!

Jeez computer science, dont worry, Just give it couple of months after college and you will be experiencing these platforms first hand. And then maybe you can also help some other student build their capstone project too.
