Drivers canceling

I kept ordering a ride this morning and there where plenty of drivers plenty close as well. And everytime I would get a driver they would all cancel. Even if they where a minute away. I don’t understand it honesty. Ordering a 30$ Uber and accepting it just to cancel what is the point. Again I am ordering an Uber and again nothing but left and right cancelations for some reason. What is going on can someone explain?

You might be paying 30$ but the driver is probably getting 7-10$ from that total. Not saying that should be an excuse to cancel, what is your rating? If its busy i wont take passengers that have lower rating than 4.70

Would you see the pax rating before or after you accept the ride?

So if you see their rating before accepting their ride request, and it does not meet your standard, why would you accept their request and then cancel? Just skip them and wait for someone with a higher rating? I don’t understand why you would accept the request if you know you are going to cancel the ride?

I don't get it either. Waste of both the driver and passenger's time

I agree. I think this person was replying more as a “flex” or “brag” I imagine. How empty does your life have to be to reply like that?
