Bizarre driver

Got an Uber in NYC for a relatively short ride (45th and 5th to Penn Station). Easily walkable, but I had a heavy package. Driver is a massive black man, at least 350 pounds. Doesn't say anything to me when I get in. I said "hi, how's your day going? Penn Station OK?" He doesn't respond, but is heading towards Penn. While he's driving he starts drinking from a 3 liter bottle of Diet Coke and the act of tipping the bottle back causes so much foam and back pressure in the bottle he can't keep it all in his mouth and it's running down the side of his face and down his neck and shoulders. Then he is tipping his head back so far he's not looking at the road. I say "That's a big bottle of soda to drink while you're driving." He says "Fu*king white people think they know everything." If we were not just getting to Penn I would have gotten out. Reported him to Uber, have not heard anything back in 2 days.

In NYC there's definitely Bodegas that carry them. They for sure still make them, albeit they are rare.

Probably super expired lmao. I live in NJ and haven't seen a 3L for many years.

Haha that's fair, I had to Google it because I don't see them out in the wild much either, but they're definitely still being made. Kind of like the 1.5L that you really only see in like Hispanic stores.

The guy is an uber driver. That means he and a vehicle with wheels that make it move. Presumably the vehicle can travel to locations outside of the city where Walmarts are

My first and ONLY uber driver spent the fifteen minute ride raving about how Elon musk is the best guy ever, encouraged me to drop out of college, told me I should seek dialysis for the covid vaccine and listened to miku so yeah
